'Rosetta Beach Cottage' - Port Elliot

Comfortable 3 bedroom cottage with sea views, fresh beach decor and modern furniture. Enjoy sea views from the front deck or inside from the lounge, dining or even kitchen! There is a second lounge area so everyone can spread out and get their own space. All lounge areas have flatscreen TV's, as does the main bedroom. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine and free WiFi internet. Outside there are sitting areas and tables, both front and rear, with sea views. There is even an outdoor shower for when you return from the beach!

Walk out the front door, across the train line where the Cockle Train runs, down the steps at the end of street and you are on Knights and Boomer Beaches. Enjoy the beach or a walk along the historic granite headlands picturesque walking path to Horeseshoe Bay for a coffee or some shopping at the boutiques.

Standard check-in is at 2pm and check-out at 10am.

Located right in the middle of Port Elliot, it is just a 5 minute walk to:
> Horseshoe Bay and the Flying Fish Cafe
> Cafes, pubs and eateries, including the Hotel Elliot, Cockles and Port Elliot bakery
> Train station to catch the Cockle Train between Goolwa and Victor Harbour
and 1 minute walk down to Knights and Boomer beaches!

Small/medium house trained dogs are permitted. They are welcome inside, but only on the furniture with your own rug/cover on it.

Okay

Okay. Given it was summer the bedrooms were rather hot during the day as the air conditioner only cooled the kitchen/lounge (small area) .Two of the bedrooms and a small seating area had movable fans. But we didn’t use them as they looked a bit dusty/fluffy. The microwave was sited about just under 2 metres high making it difficult to safely access.

Perfect getaway

Comfortable and clean little property, perfect for travelling with pooches. The yard was well fenced with a lovely neat garden.The house has everything you need and is within easy walking distance of beach, hotel and shops. Will definitely re-book!

Easter Stay

Came to Port Elliot for a cousin catch up Easter. This house is in a great location. Easy to get to all areas of Port Elliot on foot. A bonus was being able to sit on front deck and watch the cockle train go past. Jayson as a host was great and very quick to respond when we had a question about the internet.

Perfect Pet Friendly Getaway

This property is perfectly located just one street back from the beach, walking distance to all Amenities in town and is pet friendly. Lovely secure backyard with undercover area and lush grass. Our 2 pooches were very happy here.

Great location and house for a trip with the family

What a fantastic place for a holiday away with the family plus dog. House was as described on the listing. Nice, clean and super comfy for a weekend away with two small kids and a dog, the secure yard made for a stress free weekend away. The highlight of the house is that you can see the cockle train as it runs past and a quick walk to the station with the kids. Location is great, short walk into horseshoe bay either via a nice scenic walk or more direct backstreets. Would I recommend, yes it's a great place. Would I book again, absolutely.

Relaxed Family Holiday House in a great location

Our stay at Rosetta Cottage was a great school holiday retreat for our small family, 2 adults, tween aged son, and Labradoodle. Its prime location is an easy walk to most places in Port Elliot, or drive to Victor Harbor, and Goolwa, makes it an ideal base for exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula. We walked a lot around Port Elliot, and love the bookshop down the street, the Market at the park on Saturday morning, the bakery, and down to the Port Elliot Show! The backyard is fully fenced, and secure, which meant both dog and owners could relax. We had a mix of weather this week, but we enjoyed sitting in the front room looking out towards the sea, and every so often seeing the passing Cockle Train. It's an older Cottage, but is clean and comfortable, with a modern kitchen and laundry facilities.

Perfect spot for family getaway

Loved our stay. Accomodation has everything we needed as a family. Great to walk straight down to the beach or the skate park, plus bike/walking trail right next door. Cooking was easy with enough pots, pans, trays and utensils already there. Laundry was had everything too. Overall been one of the best places we have stayed for our family.

Great little cottage, great location

Our family of four plus dogs had a great stay at this cottage. Awesome location, walking distance to all the best of Port Elliot, multiple beaches and surely the best place to watch a sunset (rocks above Knights Beach for reference) Very neat cottage, comfortable beds and great communication with hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Great property & location

This is a great little property with excellent facilities and a nice energy. There is everything you need there and is a perfect setup for 2 families. You are close to the main drag and also the beach. I would recommend to anyone!!
