Welcome to On Seabatical in Windmark Resort on the Forgotten Coast of FL! We are only 1/4 mile from the Windmark Square and the beach and only 4 miles from downtown Port St Joe. There you'll find restaurants, a small fitness center (charge), mercantile, social bar, pool, and the BEACH! There are many fabulous restaurants and shop in the area as well. You will have fun - we promise!

* Front Porch: 2 chairs and a small table create a great space to sit and enjoy the afternoon breeze.

Additional Information:

* While here, you will see a lot of people getting around on golf carts in the community. We have a 2024 Club Car 6 seater golf cart included with stay - please take good care of it!
* Golf cart is included at no additional cost

-Must be 18 years old or older to drive it
-Children MUST NOT drive this vehicle

* Absolutely no Boat and Trailer parking in the neighborhood
* Driveway can accommodate up to 4 regular sized cars or 2 trucks.
* Security Cameras provide visibility around the perimeter of the exterior of the house

Areas of interest:

* Port St Joe has many boutique shops and some great dining options! This is a must do!
* Cape San Blas offers a state park with one of the most pristine and gorgeous beaches you'll ever see.
* Apalachicola is a historic town with lots of great shopping and dining along with a few breweries and lots of bars. You can kill a day here.
* Mexico Beach is just a few miles West of PSJ. Great Beaches and fishing here.
* Panama City and Panama City Beach are only about an hour West.

You can enjoy beautiful sunsets almost every single night, here! If you fish, you can catch pinfish, blues, reds, catfish, trout and an occasional shark from the shore, as well.

2) Golf Cart - If the golf cart has an issue preventing its use that you did not cause and you PAID for its use, you will be refunded the rental cost. You will not be allowed to cancel or receive a refund on your reservation, however.
3) Pool - The pool is seasonally heated and children do swim in the pool during busy season. There may be times when the pool has to be serviced and is not accessible for a brief period of time. Please be patient. You will not be allowed to cancel your reservation because of this.

Wonderfully Surprised

Just a great atmosphere. Beachy theme, great colors, labels on most things so easy to recognize things all over the house. I loved it and so did the family. Thankful for the opportunity to rent this place and will be back next time in PSJ.

Winter Getaway!

On Seabatical was the perfect spot for us to getaway from the North! This home was pristine and had everything we needed for a long stay. We absolutely loved the Windmark community, PSJ, Cape San Blas, Apalach, Mexico Beach...so much to explore, dine out and shop! Our hosts were exceptional. Thank you for your hospitality and making our winter getaway a blast!

Absolutely perfect!

This house is incredibly clean! The neighborhood is very pleasant and peaceful. Access to the beach and pool along with restaurants in the neighborhood makes everything super convenient! Highly recommend!

Amazing!

Everything about this rental and it's owners was perfect! The community was quiet and the house was a quick golf cart ride to the beach. The beach itself was very calm. A few days we had the entire beach to ourselves. We experienced so much wildlife, too! There were plenty of things to keep everyone entertained: pizza place, restaurant, candy store, ice cream shop, general store, fountains, community fire pit, etc. The house was clean and equipped with absolutely everything a family would need. All beach gear, towels (bath and beach), books, games and supplies were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Additionally, complimentary keurig pods and toiletries were supplied. The house was decorated so lovely and the beds were the best we've ever experienced at a rental property. Literally, we could've shown up in the clothes we had on, with a bathing suit in hand, and we could've made it all week because of the numerous amenities the hosts provided. The hosts themselves were spectacular. They checked in often to make sure all was well. They also let us know of local events taking place in case we wanted to join in. This was truly one of the best vacation experiences we have been blessed to partake in. We look forward to returning!

Beyond as pictured.

Many vacation rentals while still a great place if we are honest look better in the pictures or not quite what you were expecting. Not so this rental. All 8 of us agreed the place looked BETTER in person and this was with us feeling the pictures already looked very good. The house is well decorated and very clean. Great little view behind the house for coffee or a night cap. While the house isn't directly on the beach it's an easy access by golf cart or car so no biggie. The community was really friendly everyone greated or waved as you were passing as well as very quiet. The host was extremely friendly and excellent at communicating. Definitely a great place to stay.
