It was close to where we needed to be. The inside was clean. The kitchen was sufficient. The bed was good. The bathroom needs some attention. The tiles around the toilet were loose. The screen on the bathroom window was broken. The area sidewalk by the suites, etc. needed sweeping/cleaning.

The owner is friendly and accommodating. He easily rescheduled our stay after our plans changed. The rooms, although dated, were very clean and comfortable. Kudos to the cleaning staff! We were even able to watch some whale activity right from the front step of our room. I would recommend the Seaside Villa for your stay in Powell River.

Michael, the owner was great but the property was not well maintained. The room was okay, minus some spiders and bugs. The surrounding "RV/Mobile Home" area was trashy. We understand that the place might be going up for sale and the family is very busy, but the location could only be rated as "Having portential"

The room was clean and well equipped, but not having air-conditioning is completely unacceptable. Further, the people in the room beside us were sitting outside our window from 5 am until 7 am drinking and smoking. Again, not acceptable!
