Pali Ke Kua # 223 Amazing, Beautiful Ocean and Bali Hai Views!

Perched on the bluff 200 feet above sea level, overlooking the the beautiful ocean and Bali Hai mountain views! The condo is split level with stairs down to the living area and first bedroom and stairs up to the second bedroom, each bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom. The second bedroom is made up with a King bed, which can also be separated and set up as 2 Twin beds, let us know what you prefer when you book.

Pali Ke Kua, one of Princeville’s premier resorts, is located on the ocean bluff overlooking Hideaways Beach, Hanalei Bay and the famous Bali Hai. The resort has amazing ocean and Bali Hai views.

Pali Ke Kua Resort has a completely renovated pool area that is gorgeous! The new pool and jacuzzi are both very large with plenty of areas to relax and sunbathe or enjoy some shade.

Easy access to the paved path leading to Hideaways Beach. This section of Hideaways Beach is difficult to access except by this path and is therefore fairly secluded. It’s is known for incredible swimming, surfing and is considered to be one of the best snorkeling spots in Hawaii, please be advised there is no Life Guard on Duty winter swells are for experienced surfers only.

Pali Ke Kua Resort is located in the heart of Princeville, Hawaii, close to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, (currently under renovation) Princeville Center, Hanalei, Makai Golf Club, shopping, dining and many amazing beaches.
Great for families.

Relax and enjoy sunsets and seasonal whale watching (December through May) from your private lanai.

The condo is also walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shop’s, restaurants, and beach access.
Accommodation includes, wireless internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 12 cup coffee maker ,Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and beach umbrella, .a great place to stay!

If you are adventurous there is a charcoal BBQ grill at the end of the paved path to the beach for guests to BBQ, but bring all your own supplies!
To access the condo you must be able to go up and down one flight of stairs, there are also stairs in the condo to access the living room and master bedroom.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is not air conditioned, however there are fans in each room and screen door on the lanai to help with airflow throughout the condo.

Fantastic location and views

Loved the upstairs master with bath and the downstairs 2 double beds with bath. Plenty of doors for various levels of privacy! Balcony was great-love all the little geckos and birds who visited. The views is even better than the photos. No AC but so breezy and well designed for air flow and screens on every window (even a sliding screen door). Crashing waves at night were lovely— and the location so quiet we were never disturbed despite going to bed at 8 pm every night due to jet lag! Stop looking, this is the unit you want. Top floor, only one other apt. with as nice a view. Located on a peninsula with just one other apartment next to the tip of the peninsula so when you come out the front door, you have views of cliffs and the queens bath. Lots of restaurants, urgent care, groceries, etc within a 5- minute drive. Kitchen well stocked with spices and plates/utensils and they even supply binoculars, lounge chairs, and an umbrella. Thank you so much for an amazing 4 nights!

Million dollar view

Condo is dated but comfortable. Lanai has a beautiful view with nice furniture to watch the sunset. Towels, kitchen dishes, etc all comfortable. Lori was awesome to work with and very responsive when needed. Access to private path to beach was well maintained. Internet and cell coverage are fair on the Princeville side of the island.

Killer view but needs TLC

Layout is perfect for 2 couples as ensuite bedrooms are on separate floors. Room with 2 queens is on main floor with kitchen and living room and beds are very firm. King bed upstairs is ok. Unit was very clean and has everything we needed. The manager said they plan a renovation of the interior at the end of the year as it will definitely benefit from the modernization. Views of Hanalei Bay are fantastic and the condo’s community is beautifully landscaped and maintained.

A slice of heaven in Princeville

This property was in a great location, and the view was wonderful. The property needs some updating which I understand will be done at the end of the year, but it was very clean. We enjoyed our stay there. It was a very comfortable condo and the grounds and views were unbelievable.

Stunning view!

Would I stay here again? Yes! The positives outweigh the negatives. Positives included: 1. Location -- the view is spectacular! We loved being on the north shore, and found this condo to be centrally located. 2. Layout of the unit was perfect for our family that includes 2 teenage kids. They were happy to have their own bathroom, and especially their own beds. 3. All the furniture was very comfortable. 4. The kitchen is functional. We ate in a little more than half the nights. 5. There was a nice large bottle of dish soap and a good, new in the package, sponge. 6. The dishwasher & washer/dryer looked new, and worked great. 7. The pool is very pleasant and close by. 8. The snorkeling from the private beach is great. But beware, the path, which is paved and well maintained, is ultra steep! 9. The bathrooms have lots of storage space, and toilet paper, liquid hand soap, shampoo & conditioner were provided. 10. There was a nice set of beach chairs in the closet. Things that could have been better (minus a star): 1. Echoing other reviews, the counter tops in the kitchen, and the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are long overdue for replacement. Buckling in the counter, and cabinets that are stuck or don't shut properly. 2. I had to buy kitchen towels, facial tissue, and bar soap. 3. As promised, there was a beach umbrella, but it was on its last legs. We pieced it together for one day, but it gave up on the 2nd day. We rented the rest of the time.

Beautiful view, gorgeous sunsets

The condo is a wonderful design that allows the cool evening breeze to flow through. We awoke every morning before sunrise and sat on the lanai listening to the surf and watching it get light. It’s what I am doing now as this is our last morning. We will miss the mynahs, three were just here. We were hoping for a possible glimpse of a humpback whale from the lanai but saw dozens of them. They are out a distance but they are there. Oh and the rest of the place was great also. It is Clean. Kitchen could use some surfaces refreshed but it has everything you need with fairly new appliances. The furniture is comfortable and I I seems pretty new also. The host was responsive, informative, and the check in could not have been simpler. Unfortunately I have to finish packing now.

Perfect location

This was a wonderful location in Princeville. The views are spectacular, the sunset views is unobstructed. Really stunning! The condo has everything you need including beach chairs and towels. The interior is not updated. That is my only slight disappointment. They did let us know prior, the closet doors are rickety and slide off the track but there is so much room in the bedrooms and bathrooms which is wonderful. Overall loved it!

Epic sunsets!

My friend and I genuinely enjoyed staying at this property, and were especially enchanted by the dramatic sunset show that occurred nightly. The condo faces due West out onto the Pacific, which is unique for a North Shore property. Accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Fans and tradewinds were sufficient to keep the space cool. I hope to book another stay here soon!

August stay with Family

The property is in a wonderful location and has the views as advertised. Hideaway pizza is literally across the parking lot and the trail down to the beach is not much further. The pool is also across the parking lot, however it is directly below the pizza place, so if you go anytime after 4 you are swimming and lounging with customers above you. I found that to be a bit odd and caused me not to go as much in the evening. I would have rated the cleanliness higher except the unit is very dated, the carpet and kitchen definitely need an upgrade. Also the mirrors, which are everywhere are also chipping and showing their age. The airflow was good but not great, as the front door had no screen, so when we closed it you lost the nice breeze. Also while the sunset was beautiful, unfortunately it was too much of a good thing as it made the lanai unusable for about 2hrs and you had to close the drapes or the living room would heat up. Finally the beach chair situation was a bit odd, they had two regular beach chairs and then two cheap travel camping chairs, for the location and price, I would have expected better equipment. Also there were only 4 beach towels, which with a party of 4 quickly became annoying as we would go to the pool and then the beach with wet towels. Again little things that just caused some annoyance. We had stayed the week before in Ka'paa and that unit was better stocked which might have caused me to notice these things more?? Overall, we enjoyed our stay and again the location was great, however with all of the choices I don't know that I would necessarily return to this unit.
