This beautiful home is perfect for the family getaway to the Garden Isle you've been looking for. You'll love taking in the ocean view, smelling the plumeria, and just loving the deep green Kauai is known for as you relax on the wrap-around deck and the trade winds fill you with aloha. Enjoy a splash in the private pool and and attached spa/hot tub (all gated for safety). The kids are going to be thrilled with the WiFi and TV while the adults will appreciate all of the kitchen updates and wooden touches throughout the home. The gas grill on the deck will help you wonders when cooking a delicious grilled meal.

What's nearby:
Golfers will love playing one of the many courses in Princeville including the nearby Princeville Makai Golf Club, only 0.7 of a mile away. Just quick jaunt south on the highway will take you to the Princeville Ranch where the kids and kids at heart can zipline through the trees, go off-roading on an ATV, or take to the trails on a horse. Take a minute to pause at the lookout and breathe in the beauty on the way into Hanalei where you can shop, dine, or just stick your toes in the sand at one of the many beaches. The walk down to Wyllie's Beach will be well worth it for snorkeling.

No response from host although we called 3 times and Vacasa told us we would hear back. Dead roaches under the stairs and there was a piece of a Roche in the dryer. A coyote of other ones were seen around the house but I understand that can be normal in Hawaii. The dead ones left behind was alarming however. Jacuzzi doesn’t work, not ocean view. Property is super overpriced for what is offered.

Not sure it was worth the money

The pool was the best part. The house was aesthetically pleasing. Very cutely decorated. All looked good at first glance. Open kitchen which was nice. The place has no air conditioning as it’s not common in the island to have AC . Which was fine except the bedding was cheap cotton sheets that didn’t breathe - the pillows were not good quality especially for the price paid per day/week. The porch room was filled with mini geckos which would have been fine but we wanted to have a teen sleep out there. The main floor bedroom had cockroaches in the room and bathroom. Both surprises on different mornings. The kitchen counter was filled with ants. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if they had the little ant raid pods but they didn’t. The grill was very worn down and ran out of gas the first night. Again under whelming patio table and grill for the price. I’d be more selective next time for sure. Regardless the island made everything amazing. Outside of those items mentioned it had towels, bikes, buggy boards and kitchen was well stocked.

Absolute paradise!

This house was amazing - we stayed with 6 people with a range of ages (7 - 55) and it was comfortable, quiet and the view was spectacular! Flowers, chickens, and geckos and were a feast for the eyes while we sat on the lanai. The pool and hot tub were great to off set time at the beach (we loved snorkeling at Anini) - the only issue we had were the controls to turn the hot tub on and off but the host sent someone to check it out within 30 min and they were able to show us how to get it working for our stay. It was a perfect place to spend a family vacation and we will definitely book again when we come back! Mahalo!

Perfect home for families!

We were so lucky to find this home for rent for our stay in Kauai! The home was well appointed with kitchen amenities, bathroom amenities, towels for the pool, boogie boards, bikes, etc. There were four adults and two kids under six with us. Having the pool and hot tub and lots of space inside the home made for a very relaxing experience. The neighborhood is beautiful and just a short walk to a playground and Princeville market. Added bonus
 You can see the ocean from the patios! I would highly recommend this home to others! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Wonderful Stay at Saltwater Hale

We really enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Hale. In particular the kitchen is spectacular, and we really liked cooling off in the pristine pool. The two smaller bedrooms were great for our older children, though might not be ideal for adults. We were thrilled to find cane toads in the yard at night and got a kick out of watching the egrets chase the lawn mower. 4/5 stars because we were looking forward to riding the bikes that are pictured in the photos and were told not to, but overall very satisfied.

Nice quiet getaway

House was clean and had the necessary amenities. Pool is great for the kids and family when you're to tired to go to the beach. Enough space for our family of 6. Lenie's are where my kids liked to spend the afternoons watching the birds around the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in Kauai!

This property was perfect for our stay in Princeville! The location was great - just a short drive from everything we did in the area. The house was very cute and was stocked with all the essentials. We would definitely stay again!
