Welcome to Costa Vista #2! Imagine being able to sun-tan, read a book, sip a cocktail or have a cup of tea with the reflective blue, green and white colors of the nearby Caribbean sea complementing the picture.

Perhaps you may prefer a leisurely walk to submerge yourself in the calm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea to swim or dive. Spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea from every terrace, veranda and patio on all three levels of this fantastic Townhouse including a 180 degree view from the roof terrace!

Located within a short distance of the West Coast beach, supermarket, restaurants and duty free shopping; Costa Vista offers affordable holiday luxury on the Gold Coast of Barbados. This spacious townhouse is located within development of 7 town homes, and affords comfortable living with all equipment and utilities included. An inclined driveway leads to the front of the unit and its patio entrance. The villa is on a fairly steep hill (which accounts for the awesome views!). This might not be suitable for individuals with disabilities and older individuals.

Introducing Costa Vista #2: On the ground level there are 2 bedrooms including a master bedroom with attached bathroom with tub/shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Downstairs on the lower level there are two more bedrooms including a second master bedroom and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is also a full bathroom with shower on the lower floor. The second floor and roof top deck is where all the excitement is with a large open concept kitchen flowing onto a spacious living area and covered patio. A sweeping staircase leads up onto the rooftop deck where one can experience views that are out of this world. The roof top is perfect for relaxing, tanning or having a sip while watching the sun set.

All living areas have air-conditioning with ceiling fans to dining room, lounge and main bedrooms. Unit location on a hill may not be suitable for wheelchair access or very young children.

No smoking and no pets allowed.

Not suitable for wheelchair users since Costa Vista #2 is on top of a hill.

Roof terrace 550 sq ft with table and chairs external electrical sockets and lighting. Patio furniture on level 2 terrace. Shared pool with gazebo. Car parking for one cars.

Coast/Beach
Fitts village beach is 500 yards away. Paynes beach is 5 mins by car with a variety of water sports including skiing, snorkeling and wind surfing.

Golf
Sandy Lane and Royal Westmorland less than 10 mins drive. Barbados Golf Club and Rockley Golf Club 30 minutes drive to the south coast.

Travel
Grantley Adams International airport is a 30 minute drive from Costa Vista. We can arrange transfers (price not included).

Distances
Fitts village is 500 yards away, while Hole Town is a 7 min drive. The capital Bridgetown is 10 mins by car. Oistins, St. Lawrence Gap and the south coast is 30 minutes drive.

Neil and Sonya were amazing from booking to the very last minute. Extremely easy check in process and were very helpful with advice along the way. Location was amazing with short walks to beach and restaurants. And you can’t beat the ocean views from the pool and rooftop patio.

Villa is lovely, smooth check in, owner and property manager very attentive and helpful, great local taxi driver who was always available. Close to various great beaches and bars, short ride from lovely restaurants etc. Highly recommended

Wonderful time at Costa Vista 2

We had a wonderful month at Costa Vista 2. The location is perfect for accessing the beaches and restaurants on the west coast. The pool and the views from it were a place we enjoyed. The unit is well appointed and fully equipped. The kitchen has all that you would need. The living and bedrooms are quite comfortable. The views from the rooftop and patio are spectacular. We saw many a sunset while overlooking the water. Neil and Sonya are very responsive and Samantha’s weekly cleaning kept the place spotless. We will be back!!!

Great view and location!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay! The view from the property, upper deck, and pool area were fabulous. The house is centrally located and provided easy access to everywhere we wanted to go on the island. There are several fantastic beaches with beach bars very close to the property and it's just minutes away from Quatro Passi. Sonya arranged to have the house cleaned mid-way through our stay and we had refreshed sheets and towels which was a pleasant surprise. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 pre-teen age kids. The way the bed rooms were arranged each family had their own floor which was nice. I highly recommend!

Fabulous visit

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the villa. We miss our morning coffee on the deck outside the living room, our evening glass of wine on the top deck watching the incrediable sunsets and our afternoons lazing around the pool. The villa was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable and it quickly started to feel like home. With 3 levels and 4 bedrooms it was nice that there was a washroom on each floor. Wifi was excellent and even with only basic cable there was still a wide range of channels available. The entire renting process went very well with Neil and Sonya responding very quickly to emails. They provide detailed information about the area. They were also very flexible regarding early check in as the unit had not been occupied the evening before our arrival and they let us check out later to accommodate our late flight home. Elma meet us when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly. She was easily accessible by phone if you had any questions or concerns. The location was good for us as we wanted a week to relax. It was quiet and away from traffic . You would need to use the bus or rent a car if you want to visit the beautiful beaches or see the sights. Il Tempio Italian restaurant is just at the bottom of the hill. We had an excellent dinner there one night and happy hour with a gorgeous sunset another evening. Yes there are many stairs and it is located up a hill but my 74 year old husband who has issues with his feet and legs was fine..he just took his time. Jordans supermarket is just at the bottom of the hill and they have a shuttle service that will drive you home after you shop . The local bus is also just at the bottom of the hill. We rented a car from Stoutes car rental. They delivered the car to the villa and picked it up there. I do not know how they compare in price but the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the villa and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants some time in paradise.

Better than the pictures show

The townhouse is very well-designed, well-furnished, and well-maintained. The property is very clean and nicely landscaped and the pool is fantastic. The views are splendid. The pictures don't do justice to this property. The owners Neil and Sonya, and the staff Elma and Samantha, are also very friendly and helpful. Our only issue was with parking: The unit only has one assigned parking spot, and this spot is difficult to get into with a larger vehicle, especially when the neighboring unit (also a vacation unit it seems) has visitors with a car. This may not be an issue for most people, but if you do plan on parking It is worth discussing your parking plans with Neil before booking. There is also virtually no visitor parking on site or nearby. Again, this will not be a problem for most people, but for those like us with friends and family on the island it can be a significant challenge. The property is fully enclosed and gated and is ideal for quiet vacationers, and is definitely NOT ideal for those like us who are sure to have visitors. It is also worth noting that parties, i.e. group gatherings of any sort are prohibited. Had I known all these things before booking I might have reconsidered, mainly out of consideration for the tenants and guests of the other units. That said, my family had such an unforgettable time that I have no regrets about having stayed here.

Absolutely Fantastic

A wonderful eight days in Barbados to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday with family and friends. Costa Vista # 2 was just perfect. Everything was excellent, nothing at all to complain about. Staff was very good and receptive to us. Our visiting friends from U.S. were very impressed. The morning and evening views of the Caribbean Sea are awesome. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you will not be sorry. Cammie.

Beautiful condo!

This is our second stay in Neil and Sonya's lovely condo. The condo is clean, comfortable and fairly well stocked. A few lights and the toaster were not working but everything else was fine. We made breakfast and dinner in the condo every day. It was great to have a washer and dryer, although we usually hung our clothes on the line to dry. The air conditioning was used in the evenings. The condo is in a friendly, residential neighborhood and is a short walk ( downhill) to Fitts Beach and to Jordans supermarket. We explored the island with our rental car but spent lots of time at the condo either in the pool or on the balcony- the views are fantastic. There are a lot of stairs both outside and inside the condo. Several mornings we were treated to watching the visiting monkeys in the tress. We appreciated the free long distance calling to Canada. We have stayed at numerous VRBO accommodations in North America and the Caribbean and would certainly consider returning to Costa Vista.

Good base for a holiday

We booked this rental house for 8 people and it accomodated us all well, so we didn't feel cramped or on top of each other. The house is a set of 7 tearraced houses, with the manager to the property living at number one. The house is set on four floors, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in the basement, another 2 bedrooms, both with small balconies and a bathroom on the ground floor. There was then an open plan kitchen and living room on the next level with a small balcony and finally a roof terrace which had the washing lines one side and some sun chairs the other side. The stairs are open plan format which were not a problem for us but i would not recommend it for the less able or children under five due to safety issues. We used the air con in the bedrooms at night and just the ceiling fans in the living room during the day. Being short i found it hard to open the kitchen window to get a through breeze and had to climb onto the work surface to do this as the window handle is broken to slide the window open, not a problem for me but not good for the less able. the alternative would be to use the air con, so not an issue. There is a very steep drive and as we had a large car didn't feel safe driving to the top as the car was starting to tip. The manager was brilliant and offered us another parking space lower down. The kitchen was well equipped electrically, but we had to ask for some extra bowls as there were only 3 on our arrival. Bowls were provided instantly from the managers own kitchen. Wifi was good for a rental property, good connection if close to the box. Pool is shared with 6 other houses but we were the only ones in it most of the time, monkeys liked to watch us some days, which my daughter thought was funny. Pool, house and the gardens are well maintained. Bathroom towels and beach towels are provided. The hot water ran out if we all had showers at the same time , so we had to use the back up water a few times. Washing machine is good but again you need the hot water from the solar panels so hard to find the right time to use it if you go out for the day. Didn't use the tumble drier as we put all our washing on the roof to dry. We had an amazing holiday here and loved watching the cruise liners from the roof terrace, especially at night. We love Barbados and used to live here and a holiday in this house didn't dissappoint. Manager was great and the maid came in twice during a 2 week stay.

Beautiful Barbados home in perfect location

Costa Vista 2 is a beautiful slice of paradise! The home is located in a great spot: a short walk to the supermarket, beach access, a quick drive to Bridgetown, and with an amazing view. We were a bit disappointed that the bathroom on the main floor was not working. It made it necessary to travel all the way downstairs to the bedroom to use the facilities. We were made aware of this upon check-in, but we thought it was going to be repaired during our stay. Being that was our only complaint, we would highly recommend Costa Vista 2 to any and all. For starters, working with Neil was an entirely pleasurable experience!! He is so outgoing and friendly, and prompt with answers for all questions during the booking process as well as the time leading up to vacation. The home itself is beautiful inside and out. Like I mentioned above, the location could not be better! Everything you need is a very short distance away. It is well apportioned and the pool area is the perfect size. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas and New Years vacation in Barbados thanks to Neil and his beautiful home, Costa Vista 2!!! If you don't try it you are missing out!
