Built in 2015, well appointed, open air concept, 1 bedroom, 1 bath penthouse condo in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's most sought after neighborhood; Zona Romantica, a gay and family friendly, English speaking area.

Three minutes to Puerto Vallarta's most popular beach; Los Muertos, with no stairs to climb or descend en route. Food and drink service provided under umbrellas on beach. Only two to five minutes to the restaurants, amenities and nightlife of Olas Atlas and Basilio Badillo, yet tucked away at the end of Pilitas; a dead-end, mostly residential, cobble-stoned street.

Minutes to boutique and artisan shopping. Mini-marts, ATMs, convenience stores within a three-minute walk. Ten to fifteen minute taxi ride to marina, commercial centers, golf and eco tourism activities.

Granite countertops, bar and backsplash, stainless steel appliances and tropical parota wood furnishings and built-ins. Local commissioned artwork tastefully adorns the walls. Stepping into it in the middle of summer was like getting in your car thats had the windows rolled up sitting in the blazing sun. It would be a nice consideration to have the unit cooled down for guests immediate comfort. Had to work my way thru turning on the A/C then evacuate to the pool, even tho I would have rather taking a short nap after a long day of travel.Over all I would rent again as the price and location is great.

Great stay at Bella Loma 404

The week started off with a couple of problems with the phone and tv but Charlotte was very responsive and had the issues resolved in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the quick response to any of our questions.The unit is small but has everything you need including the washer and dryer. Cleaning service every other day was greatly appreciated. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and all the restaurants and bars in town. There are a few small grocery stores within a short walk and Charlotte told us about a lady selling fresh fruit on Basilio Badillo. A great week overall

Worst VRBO Experience

Checkin to the unit was a self-checkin and went smoothly. We received an email a couple days in advance with door codes as well as instructions and info for maid cleaning schedule. The host contact, Charlotte, noted in the email that the maid staff worked hard and it was typical to tip them 3-5USD per cleaning. Maid service would occur every other day Charlotte also mentioned in the email that the maids would refill toiletries, toilet paper, towels, and fill the water jug in the fridge. The good: -The unit is in close walking distamce to everything in ZR, while still being quiet. The bad: -The bedroom has an AC unit that is old and doesn't work well. -The matress and pillows in the bedroom are very hard and we didnt sleep well. -Last and worst of all was the passive aggressive maids and host that accused us of scratching the fridge (we didn't. The maids did) and left no toilet paper and threw their dirty cleaning cloths on top of our laundry in the washer. I believe they did all of this because we forgot to leave a tip on the Monday before they came in to clean. On our check out I did leave 170 pesos ($8.40USD) for the maids. Two days after we checked out, I received an email from Charlotte, the host, accusing us of scratching the fridge and applying a $100USD fee on my credit card to help cover the cost of a replacement fridge door. Again, we didn't scratch the fridge the maids did. Total scam. AVOID. I believe they did all of t

Nice little spot in the heart of everything zona Romantica

We stayed in the condo for four days, it was very quiet, considering the amount of construction always going on in the area, which was nice! The place was very clean and updated. Of the air, conditioners and plugs in the bathroom worked well. A favorite of mine is that this particular unit is only one floor below the pool area, so it was easy access!

Home in Paradise

We stayed at Casa Tesoro Esondido for 2 weeks. The apartment was perfect. They view was amazing and is exactly what is in the pictures. It’s in a great location and easy to get around. The kitchen was just right and had enough to enjoy breakfast on the terrace. The roof deck pool had even better views. Many times we thought it was our own private pool! The friendly cleaning lady was a surprise. We will be back next yesr! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place!!

Perfect Location

Beautiful, clean and great communication with the host. They provided very detailed instructions that were necessary. Close to everything you need and want in Puerto Vallarta. The elevator was down for one day but it was working the next. Gorgeous rooftop pool is one floor above. Washer and dryer was nice! Unfortunately the fire stick didn’t work in the bedroom but we watched Netflix in the living room to relax before bed. I highly recommend this place.

Property was great in general, there were hiccups with the internet and television, the host came by personally to help but we were told it was the cable company that was responsible. In general we loved the apartment with its two balconies, great grill, and roof top pool/ lounge chairs. Location was perfect and cleaning service spot on. Washer and dryer were a huge amenity.

Very nice condo in the Romantic Zone. Functional kitchen: note that no condiments or pantry items of any kind are provided, not even salt. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels/linens. Washer/dryer worked well. Nice view from balcony or rooftop. For those with mobility issues, note that the elevator does not go to the rooftop - you must climb a flight of spiral stairs (no handrail) to access the pool deck. Also, the neighbourhood is fairly hilly - sidewalks are steep in some places. On the plus side, cabs can be easily gotten 1/2 block away. Owner was responsive when we had an issue - problem resolved quickly. Maid service was very good. Overall the maintenance of the condo is excellent - everything worked properly. We would definitely consider renting this property again in the future.

Marvelous stay at the Bella Loma

I really would love returning to Bella Loma. You don’t need the air conditioner with open air design. Location was great. I was on a quiet street yet a few minutes to everything (breakfast, shops, the beach etc) everything is modern and well kept. Great view of the beach. Friendly hostess only a phone call away. What more can I ask for?

I'm not sure if there's more you can ask for in a condo in PV. You can't beat the location to the beach, restaurants, and other points of interest. Everything was walking distance. It was immaculately clean, well stocked, and with strong wifi. We had 5 restful nights. The owners were quite welcoming and responsive.

Smell was awful

While I usually am not one to complain. Upon arrival I notified the owners of a very strong sewage smell coming from the entire condo. To the point of being awoken by it in the middle of the night. I tried to solve myself by running water down all drains, cracking a window in the washroom and closing the washroom door. The smell was unbearable. The owners did send the maid however I don't believe it was a cleanliness issue. After two days the smell did start to dissipate and become bearable. My contact with the owners regarding this issue was less than pleasant. The bed is hard as a rock might as well have slept on the floor. I did move to the love seat "couch" after night three and while unable to stretch out, I was able to finally sleep. The view is nice, the location is nice.

Nice location but staff not honest

Well, I'll start here. The code to the lock box was changed and I did receive that message from the owner a week from the owner. However that changed code did not get updated in the check in instructions. So we show up using the sent check in instructions that has an old code. We couldn't get into the property so I called and sent a message. Standing outside is 100 degree weather waiting for a response and the call was not picked up. After a few more tries I received a call back and was given the right code. We arrive 3pm the towels were not done drying and were just left in the dryer. We finished drying them and folding and put them away. The next day we left to eat breakfast and double checked the door lock as they lock opposite of the US doors. Upon returning the door was open, not just unlocked but open. After checking nobody was in the unit I sent a message to the owner and a few minutes later the maid came to check on us. Someone had entered the unit. There was a guy going into the adjacent pool bathroom. Probably heard the elevator coming up and rushed out of the unit. The floor tile grout throughout the unit is black from dirt. The glass patio doors were very dirty as well. It was still a nice stay and the location is perfect. However after even going the extra mile of washing and folding towels and linen today I get some BS saying there was a stain on the sheets reported by the maid? Probably because forgot her tip was in my shirt pocket, liar!

a solo trip in the Romantica Zone

the condo was absolutely adorable and comfortable...I felt at home about 10 minutes after entering, the amenities were as described!..I was missing a bluetooth speaker and propane for the grill and one message to Charlotte and issues resolved...Fernando was there the next day!...All in all I had a most relaxing time...the location is perfect for a stroll down to the beach and just around the corner from many many bars and restaurants...I'm already looking at next year!...perhaps I should leave an awful review so I can book the unit worry free next year!....LOL..I could never do that to the wonderful owner, John, and my experience @ Casa Tesoro Escondido!!!..the lovely cleaning lady, Charlotte, Fernando and also a shout out to Vrbo for a wonderful easy experience!...and of course the wonderful warm, gracious citizens of Puerto Vallarta!...much life, love and laughter!...

Great location with a million dollar view

Great location to walk to the beach, restaurants or shopping! The condo is tucked at the end of a short street in a cute little area. The condo building access is secure. The bed is comfortable and the ocean view from the kitchen/living room area and the wrap around patio is spectacular! The hosts are very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We would recommend this property and will stay again.

Puerto Vallarta Condo

Nice property somewhat difficult to navigate entry and door locks and also construction work in progress but after a day of navigating it became much easier. We arrived on a Tuesday the condo was extremely hot and the dryer was running with towels ? AC in bedroom works great not so good in living room.
