Staff writer was amazing, 10/10 for that and their service. Hotel is a bit dated and not super clean. Pools were not very clean, Not a lot to do for families with teen or preteen kids Food on buffet and Mexican restaurant were good, better than other all inclusive we have been in, but the rest are not so great. Hygiene seems to be an issue in some of the restaurants, you see waiters sticking their hands in the ice bucket to grab a handful and then dropping it in your cup, vey unappetizing and to say the least contaminating the hole buck of ice for everyone. Also you see some chefs or ski chefs literally grabbing things by their hands and mixing it by their hands on your plate, like salads and such, no gloves anywhere:( Bathrooms near the pool, sometimes have no soap or toilet paper The beach is pretty rough so finding a chair to sit on by the pools is very hard to find, unless you go super early in the morning and put some towels on the chairs you want to use. Beach towels and hotel room towels, I’m pretty sure they are cleaned and sanitized, but a lot of them has spots on them, so that’s kind of a turn off. You would expect a bit more for the money you pay to stay on this resort, at the end of the day you’re not staying on a motel or a 2 star place. The stores in the hotel are so crazy pleasant Overall it was a pleasant stay, but the place had few issues.

Lots of different options to relax some more quiet, some more lively with entertainment. Diverse selection of restaurants and bars, excellent concierge services for booking excursions, and top notch spa treatments

We have visited this same resort for the past two years. Our only complaint it that we dont stay long enough. We're going to fix that next year when we return. Its paradise!

The Hyatt Ziva was outstanding with their private beach nestled in the mountains, and super close to Zona Romantica. The food has quite delicious as well. We loved our breakfasts right on the beach in Blaze with chef Edgar Lopez, who came out to say hello - he was super nice and breakfasts were delicious on hot plates with the waves rolling in -- we found it difficult to leave breafkast because the mood and scene was just right every morning. Tip: the beach sales people is super small at this property because it's a private beach, which means it's more restful than all the other beaches in Vallarta. Prices were reasonable as well, and we were excited that it also included room service and mini bar on the all inclusive plan. Tons of cultural events and performances every night. Recommended!!
