This spacious (almost 10,000 sq. ft.), walled Tuscan stone villa overlooking Banderas Bay and the beautifully charming Old Town/Romantic Zone, is one of the rare private treasures where you can EASILY walk from your front gate to fabulous gourmet restaurants or funky joints surrounding the Romantic Zone and Old Town, the Blue Chairs of Los Muertos Beach, and the downtown Malecon.

Return to your huge pool deck, surrounded by total privacy, and have your own chef, access to an in-house masseuse & spa amenities, Meditate with private Yoga, high speed wireless Internet, Netflix, Apple TV, & streaming services. This is a walled, private estate looking out on PV and the blue Pacific. At night you can watch fireworks from the terrace.

Accommodating staff of 3 is included in rental. That means all needs are taken care of. You can have poolside cocktail service at your whim. The staff is super personable, speaks English, and has been trained to be both invisible when need-be and by your side when needed. Chef services for breakfast included; Additional Chef services available for lunch/dinner for small fee.

This was our second time staying at the Majestic Tuscan Villa, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The home is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located, making it easy to relax and enjoy the area. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need.Cristina’s food is always the highlight of our stay — truly exceptional. Jon and Sylvia are fantastic to work with as well, and incredibly prompt in responding to any questions.We will defienlty book again!

Casa Ileana is absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable home to stay in while visiting Puerto Vallarta. The house was more than just our accommodation it was one of the best parts of our trip. Perfect Getaway

Visit to PV to get away from work and relax. The property was beautiful with great views of the city and the ocean. The staff was attentive and Cristina was an amazing cook. The meals were better than our trips to the restaurants nearby. Everything was just as we expected and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful relaxing villa stay.

Casa Ileana is a wonderful villa for a relaxing vacation. It is decorated beautifully. The pool, living room, dining, and kitchen flow together smoothly. There are 5 bedrooms. The view is of the ocean and setting sun. The walk to ZR and malecon is quick, although a couple blocks are very steep. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Owners answered all questions quickly. Highly recommend.

Paradise in Puerto Vallarta

Wonderful stay in PV. The house is lovely - very interesting design/architecture. The staff is amazing - Cristina and Jaime made us delicious meals, and with Maria kept the house clean and tidy. We all looked forward to our breakfasts, and the afternoon drinks and snacks around the pool were a highlight of our day. It was a great place for a vacation with our kids and grandkids. One thing to note - the bedrooms vary in size, and some are ensuite, while others have bathrooms across the hall. This was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The host is super responsive - our inquiries were replied to almost immediately. They send an email with all the information you need before you arrive which is very helpful.They truly are Premier hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Cristina, Jaime, and Heidi made our stay so wonderful. I cannot recommend Cristina’s food enough—we looked forward to breakfast every day and she made a fantastic dinner for us one night. They all made our stay extra special, even putting up some decorations to celebrate our upcoming wedding. The view was beautiful and we loved every bit of our stay. Thank you Jon and Sylvia for all of the communication as well!

Totally not boring! Magical!

Nine of us stayed here over New Years
us and our 4 20-something kids with their boyfriends/girlfriends. The house was so cool and unique, the pool nice and heated, walking distance to town (made it sooo nice- no car needed). The staff, Cristina, Jaime and Heidi were fabulous- cooking and cleaning and accommodating to our vegans in the group. The public spaces are open-air, so bring layers for evening just in case. There are unavoidable stairs, so I do not recommend this home for elderly folks! We absolutely loved our time, and the kids felt it was the best group vacation EVER so far! We agreed! What a treat. The lighting at night, interiors on dimmers, city and ocean view was magical and a great backdrop for gathering, games, and conversations. Casa Ileana is really unique and memorable.

Fantastic Experience

Every lovely thing you read in all the other reviews is exactly true! The short version--If you've got a group of 8-10 -- Book. This. Villa. We had a wonderful weeklong Christmas stay. Exceptional communication pre-arrival from the owners. Once you get there, the warm, friendly staff will take great care of you without being one ounce obtrusive. Easy to communicate with and attentive--they even noticed that we had a tiny string of Christmas lights out on the counter that I forgot to get batteries for and one morning when we woke up they had put batteries in it and turned it on. Christina, Jaime and Heidi were wonderful! (Please tell them we miss them already!) Believe all the reviews that talk about the exceptional breakfasts and snacks with poolside margaritas. We are all forever ruined. Property is as pictured and then some--sprawling place with plenty of unique nooks and crannies for together or private time. The open-air living/kitchen/dining/pool area is stunning and has THE BEST VIBE! Controlling your own AC in the bedrooms was a hit for our group. It’s near everything, just slightly up a short incline—enough to give a lovely view of the bay but not so far up that you must take a taxi—but you can. We walked back sometimes and taxi’d back some, depending on what we were wearing or carrying. It’s also lush and private, nestled in just the perfect spot. I highly recommend a stay (or a dozen) here!

Great hillside location, family-friendly, amazing staff

We were 2 families with 5 kids between 8-12yo and had an absolute blast staying 5 days at Casa Ileana. Highlights: - Location: ~10 min walk to great food/shops in Zona Romantica as well as the beach. - Staff & breakfast: The breakfasts are phenomenal. Our favorite was the chorizo & veggie omelet. They also accommodated some picky eaters we had by making other items as requested. - Communication w/ owners: Sylvia was extremely helpful with providing any and all info I asked for, including helping us book airport transfers, suggested grocery lists, etc. We also had hot water issues early on that they made sure to address and compensated us fairly for the trouble. - Pool: It looks small but is somehow the perfect size; we all spent a ton of time in it! What you should know before booking: - It's an extremely hilly, high incline walk to/from the house and there's no way around it unless you want to call a taxi/Uber every time. We enjoyed the extra exercise but it's not for everyone. - We weren't used to having staff even though we deliberately sought that out, so it took a few days for us to get comfortable with people who were seeking direction from us on meals and shopping, and the kids were initially hesitant to go to the kitchen knowing the staff was "working" there. Would recommend you just go all-in and don't be shy asking for what you'd like to eat or have them do (e.g., we didn't realize we could request fresh pool towels any time).

A memorable special place

For 6 adults and 3 children under 3, Casa Ileana was very spacious. There are private outside sitting rooms for quiet time. We enjoyed the large family area with large sofas and a dining area where we could all congregate. The pool was perfect for the little ones. Beautifully decorated. Thank you to the staff for the delicious food and their warmth. Guests with mobility issues may find the climb and stairs difficult to maneuver.

This property has so much character, very private, and plenty of space. I love that each room had its own private outdoor seating area and there was plenty of space to lounge around in. The beds were very comfortable.The service by the house staff was amazing- we arrived with a stocked fridge and bar with food and drinks waiting on us. They consistently checked in on us to see if we needed additional grocery or drink items so we never had to make a trip to the store, we had several breakfast and dinners prepared by Christina and they were lovely with no stress of finding a place to eat or planning a menu. Will stay here again!

Awesome House

The house was incredible. The pictures don't do the house justice. We spent every night at the pool enjoying the view. Christina and her staff were very friendly and her food was delicious. We are already looking at planning a repeat trip.

Idyllic Property near Zona Romantica

We could not speak highly enough about this idyllic property. It is perfect for up to 5 couples with King size beds in all rooms. It is very close to Zona Romantica and it’s amazing culture and night life- just a short walk or very inexpensive Uber ride (if you prefer to avoid walking up the steep hill). Cristina, the house manager, and her staff take amazing care of you providing you with authentic meals and ensuring you have everything you need for the home but also providing privacy when needed. The owners, Sylvia and Jon, are equally amazing. They were very informative and responsive to all our questions and needs (going above and beyond)! The indoor/outdoor living room/gathering area has extremely comfortable and deep lounging couch area that allow you to take in the beautiful views of the pool, city and ocean. (Of note, if you’re traveling in warmer months the only large sitting space that has air conditioning is in the master suite, although this usually isn’t an issue with the amazing breeze and multiple fans provided). Highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

Beyond Our Wildest Dreams!

Casa Ileana was a dream! The villa, the location, the privacy, the staff
all incredible! We were a party of 11 that went for a friends 50th birthday celebration, and they even put up decorations before we arrived to help make it special. The villa is so beautiful, very spacious and had many little nooks and private sitting areas, lush foliage, beautiful artwork
and the living room/kitchen area that opens to the pool/patio area was perfect for us to gather and hang out. The view from the patio is gorgeous and so relaxing. There were a few days we didn’t even want to leave the villa at all. We felt like we were in an old world castle. The staff were incredible and so attentive, they took great care of us! Christina is an amazing chef!!! Every meal was delicious and they made sure we had everything we needed/wanted for food/drinks, and helped with any questions about things to do, etc. They arranged massages for us by the pool, and they were amazing!!! They worked with our schedules each day and it was VERY convenient to have a chef/staff make snacks and drinks and bring them to us by the pool, set up the meals for you and clean everything up. And they make sure the villa is clean, they would make our beds and straighten our rooms for us while we’re at the pool or out during the day, which was also a nice touch. Amazing!!!!

Honestly the pictures do not do Casa Ileana justice. This place is beautiful, has a great ocean view, and is very spacious! We were a group of 10 and if you needed some time to yourself you could find a space for it. Now let me tell you about the staff (Cristina, Jaime, and Maria). They are absolutely wonderful!!! This trip was for my birthday and they did everything to make it the best one! We sent a pretty extensive list ahead of our arrival of the things we wanted and everything (except a couple things that aren’t sold there) was there when we arrived. Cristina the chef/manager made us some great breakfasts and amazing dinners. She believes in farm-to-table and would shop each day for the freshest ingredients. One of my friends wanted ceviche as a snack one day and she made one of fish and one of shrimp and they were absolutely delicious. I don’t think she could make a bad meal if she tried. Jamie and Maria were both so friendly. If we asked for a drink while we were at the pool the had it there for us. Jaime made some great margaritas for us every time we asked. They kept everything clean and spotless, which with our group I’m sure was a challenge. Honestly I couldn’t think of a better place to stay. Whenever I go back to PV with a large group this will be the first place I’ll check to see if it’s available! I would definitely suggest staying here. You’ll have an amazing time whether you go out or stay in!

Fantastic Vacation for our 3 Generation Family

Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children ages 10, 7, 6 and 2) stayed 7 nights at Casa Ileana. From my first communications with Sylvia, I new it was going to be an amazing stay. Sylvia was always so quick to reply to all my questions and provided more information than I have ever received from any other VRBO owner, she is amazing! I arranged with Sylvia to have the kitchen stocked for our arrival. Cristina picked up everything on our list and was prepared with fabulous margaritas, cold cerveza, guac, salsa and chips. Everything was perfect! The house is impressive and the view so beautiful. There are so many places and levels for the grandkids to explore. Our favorite place was around the pool basking in the sunshine with a cocktail in hand. The location is fantastic, about a 10 minute walk to the Romantic Zone, so many restaurants (LaPalapa's for Sunday Brunch was a great recommendation by Sylvia) and bars, but our favorite place was Eulo's Bakery, we visited Eulo's every day! As every other person mentioned, it is a steep hill to get back home, but we always knew the pool and cold beverage were waiting once arrived, so it was worth the effort. We thoroughly enjoyed Cristina's wonderful breakfasts, we let her decide what to make for us and she never disappointed. We did ask her to make French toast every morning, along with all her other fantastic dishes, because it was out of this world good! Her frijoles are also amazing! She cooked 3 dinners for us and they were all 5 star, better than restaurant quality, meals! We are all missing Cristina's cooking! Jaime and Maria were also great as well! Jaime made fresh squeezed OJ every morning, such a great addition of our breakfasts. So many wonderful family memories were made on this trip and a lot of it because of the fantastic accommodations and the wonderful care we received by everyone associated with Casa Ileana! We can't wait to return! Thank you again for sharing. your beautiful home. Book this place, it is a dream come true!

The listing wasn't accurate. (It was actually so much better than we expected!)

We saw the pictures and read the description and were sold on the property. What we didn't know was that it was going to be so much better than we ever expected! This place is huge. There is plenty of space to have the exact vacation you want, whether it's quiet time or group time. Everything was clean, the decor a mix of traditional and interesting, and the views were great. And the staff... A true delight. So friendly and welcoming. We had Cristina prepare our breakfasts (and our dinner the first night we arrived). With a group of 9, not a single complaint from anyone. The food was delicious! An easy recommendation if you are looking at this listing. We had a few dietary restrictions but they were easily accommodated. As someone who has visited PV several times and stayed in many different places, this was definitely among my favourites and I highly recommend.

Outstanding Casa Ileana

Our family of 8 stayed at Casa Ileana for 5 nights in January. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The staff and owners were friendly, accommodating, and kind. The house was over-the-top beautiful and Cristina's cooking was better than anything we had in town. Short walk to Zona Romantica, shops, bars, and restaurants. Stay here!

A place to call Home in paradise

I have been to PV many times over the years and this was my first time at Casa Ileana, which we chose to celebrate my 50th with eight of our close friends. The house and views are even grander than the pictures convey. Cristina, Jaime, Maria, and Angel were absolutely wonderful. Cristina took care of all our to/from airport travel, setup dinner reservations, shopped for in-house meals, and prepared delicious (and gorgeous!) meals throughout the week. The whole staff worked seamlessly to make us feel at home. I can't thank them enough! Also many thanks to Sylvia who I worked with leading up to the trip- always responsive and helpful. Location was excellent. Zona Romantica is our favorite part of town and Playa de los Muertos is our favored beach, both an easy walk from the house. NOTE- you don't get those views without being on a big hill; it's just part of the deal, but worth noting if walking is challenging for you. House amenities are great. I thought we wouldn't spend so much time at the house with the beaches, shops, and restaurants we love so close, but lounging at the house pool, listening to music (easy to connect wirelessly), or even getting a little work done on the wifi, made staying at the house a comfortable choice. There's so much space, everyone was able to have their alone time during our week together, which was also important. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip. Thank you!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

We had the most incredible time and cannot say enough amazing things. Everything was more than we could have dreamed. Cristina’s food and service with the staff were phenomenal! Truly a 5 star experience!! We cannot wait to come back!!! We already decided we want to come back to Casa Ileana!
