Spectacular ocean side experience at this stunning 1 bdm home, Qualicum Bay

The fully equiped gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances and BBQ on the deck. New Queen size bed and lovely bathroom with quality linens and towels. High speed wi-fi, 40 inch cable TV, Netflix, DVD, stereo, washer/dryer, air-tight wood fireplace.

So much to do – walk the beach, watch the wildlife, seals, sea lions and eagles, or go for a swim. One of the best fishing beaches on the coast. Parks within 30 minutes drive include: Spider Lake, Horne Lake Caves, Englishman River Falls, Little Qualicum Falls, Rathtrevor Beach, Milner Gardens and Cathedral Grove with its ancient trees. There are numerous golf courses all within 30 minutes drive.

Great seafood abounds in this area. Fresh scallops and oysters from Island Scallops, just two minutes away. Farmer’s markets at Qualicum Beach, Coombs and Courtenay with amazing fresh produce.

Extremely well equipped kitchen with top quality appliances. The light from the huge windows was incredible, not to mention an ever evolving view. This place is close to numerous forested walking trails. A great grocery store in nearby Qualicum.

Fantastic Stay!!!

Absolute paradise! What an amazing find near Qualicum Beach. The cabin is on the beach with amazing views, and located near so many hiking trails, golf courses and restaurants.The cabin was clean and had everything you would possibly need for your stay. I could live there!! Highly recommended.

Our favourite stay in Qualicum Bay

This is a perfect cabin stay for two on the waterfront. The suite has all the necessary amenities with stunning views of the ocean. There are several great trails for hiking, biking or walking in the near vicinity. We will come again!

Really clean nice cabin. Kitchen was well stocked. Ocean view was amazing, very private and quiet. Had a wonderful time. My only issue was having to cross the lawn of the main house to deposit garbage & recycling. Would be nice to have smaller containers near the cabin. Didn’t feel right walking through someone’s yard. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful

This is our third time at this cabin. It’s clean, beautiful, and well equipped. The sunrises are amazing. Great food at a rustic restaurant is a five minute walk. A wonderful, well maintained walking trail is ten minutes away. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We just love it.

Hidden Treasure

The pictures does not capture the utmost beauty of the cabin. It was perfect for my month long live/work get away. Kitchen had all the amenities needed for meals. Groceries & restaurants were easy. A fully functional dishwasher, washer & dryer made the stay self sufficient,The wildlife were lovely neighbors (eagles, seals, ducks, seagulls). Celebrated NYE and was able to capture the Northern Lights - magical.The views were spectacular (though there were a few beach goers so it felt a tad fish bowlie). Luckily it was off season, so foot traffic was limited. Plan to come back again!

The wow factor is here!

As soon as you walk in the door you get the wow factor right away then you look out the walls of windows to the beach right there and you get it again. 3rd time for us and we will be back many more times. Light, airy & great location

This cabin has everything you'd want in a vacation retreat: lots of windows (clean!), indoor & outdoor seating options, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and beach access. High ceilings enhance the feeling of spaciousness. The cabin is situated on the property to maximize the sense of privacy.

A wonderful stay!

Our second time staying here. Didn’t have the best weather, especially for afternoons on the the beach as we did two years ago. Still had some great walks on the beach which is literally twenty feet from the cabin. The place was so clean and very well stocked as far as cooking needs. Jim is a great host and I would highly recommend this property.
