16A The Terrace Stunning Mountain Lake View
Superb dress-circle location, with views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. The house is only a short stroll into Queenstown. Large windows and skylights make the interior airy, bright and sun-filled. Views from the house begin with the beautiful azure waters of Lake Wakatipu and reach from The Remarkables all the way round past the Kelvin Heights golf course down the lake to Mount Nicholas.

Neighborhood
16A The Terrace is in a quiet cul-de-sac close to town. A 10 - 15 minute stroll through the nearby Queenstown Botanical gardens will bring you to the restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife of downtown.
Access
Apart from a couple of lock-up cupboards, guests have full access to the house The garage is shared with 16B The Terrace. There is 1 car park inside the garage and one car park on the driveway the garage for 16A and the same for 16B. Please only park in the allotted parking areas and do not block our other guests. Please take note of the height restrictions for the garage.
Space
The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master Bedroom (upstairs) has a Queen bed and ensuite Bedroom 2 (downstairs) has a Queen bed and shares the bathroom with Bedroom 3 Bedroom 3 (downstairs) has 2 single beds and shares the bathroom with Bedroom 2
Note: We have recently renovated with new carpet, wood flooring in the lounge, a new large screen TV unit and new blinds which all look fabulous but does mean the place does look different than the photos (new photos coming) The house renovations have modernised the home with the new blinds opening up the windows so you see more of the fantastic views.
On the entrance level is the kitchen, dining, lounge & powder room. The renovations also mean the lounge now has a brand new 55" wall mounted Smart TV. The views from the lounge and dining area are beautiful.
We have a reverse cycle air conditioner/heat pump in the main living areas keeping the house warm in winter and cool in summer. We also have panel heaters in all the bedrooms to keep the rooms nice and warm during winter.
Don't forget to ask about the option of hiring a spa pool.
We have the property 16B as well so if you are a larger group or 2 families who wish to holiday together then these two properties are perfect. You can find them advertised as Villas Lake Terrace.
We use professional cleaners and hired linen to ensure our home is cleaned to the highest standards
There is a BBQ at the rear of the house with outdoor dining table and chairs.
Laundry facilities are provided including a washing line outside in the garden and dryer in the laundry room.
Nightly rate includes free WiFi and Linen Hire.
Transit
If mountain-biking is your plan, this is the perfect base in Queenstown - just a short ride from the house is access to the Frankton Track which leads to endless tracks in the area. There is plenty of storage space for bikes in the garage.
Just a 10-15 minute walk to Central Queenstown (depending on how many times you stop to look at the view and your walking speed) - access to all buses and taxis from there. Ski buses stop on Frankton Road as well.
Notes
This property has lots of stairs and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This is not a party house. The garage is shared with 16B The Terrace The garage has a height clearance of 185cm - please take this into account when booking your rental car. Portable Cot & Highchair are available for hire from The Butler - please enquire. There is an option of hiring a portable spa for the property - please enquire if interested.
House Rules
This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise. No smoking in any part of the house. No pets allowed. House would need to be left locked and tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the big bins – our cleaners will take care of the rest.

Nice house, good view from the dining & living room. The host is very quick in replying to our messages. However, many steps at the front door and steps to upper/lower bedrooms.
Location gorgeous. Hosts helpul and accommodating. If using water downstairs, there is no water pressure upstairs. 10 min beautiful walk to town. Lots of stairs - so fine for the able bodied. Views spectacular. Thoroughly recommend.

What a view!
Property is clean and comfortable, lake view is truly amazing. A few condiments, some glad wrap and paper towels in the kitchen making the stay very welcome.
We have watched sun rise, sun set and stars through the big wide windows, dinner at the table feels like a million dollar view fine dining. Quiet street, perhaps mainly local residents. Easy walk to town centre and getting out and about. The car space could have been a problem for big cars, but we were lucky to stay whilst next door was vacant to park the 8 seater diagnoly.
We have been to Queenstown many times and this is by far the best lake view accommodation. Would love to return and stay again for the view.
