Staff were responsive when we told them that the toilet in our room was broken. However there were a lot of other maintenance items in the room that we decided to just live with - broken microwave door, broken kitchen cupboard door, light switches that didn’t do anything, flickering lightbulbs above the bed, water damage on the floor by the sink, broken shutters that divided the bedroom from the living room. Additionally the standard of cleaning wasn’t great - there was a mug in the cupboard when we arrived that was filthy and very obviously hadn’t been cleaned, there was somebody else’s underwear in the dryer, and the housekeeping (when we asked them to do it) was very “once over lightly”. And there are a lot of stairs! Given we paid a premium price, it didn’t feel like a premium experience.

This place was better than the reviews we read before booking. Easy and smooth check in by very friendly and professional staff. Convenient allocated car park for an fee underneath the building. The one bedroom apartment was spotless and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Close to the main. CBD and easy drive from the airport. We are regular walkers and enjoyed a few strolls to the CBD…. you can use cross streets to go through the less steeper sides. Lots of parking around the outskirts of town too . Spacious room, lovely kitchen - and awesome view of the lake and mountains. Some low level traffic noise during peak hours if you’re highly susceptible to that because the lounge room faces the main road that connects Queenstown CBD to the airport. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Recently stayed here for 6 nights, had a great time but there was a few things a little disappointed in. Bike hire wasn’t available. Breakfast delivered to your room instead of a lobby style sit down.

Rooms were great. Clean and spacious enough for our needs. The beds are showing their age though and are a bit uncomfortable but not enough to make the stay unbearable. The laundry facilities were a definite plus!!

The view from the suite is gorgeous! The big window panes are spotless and we enjoyed sitting in the spacious living room looking out to the lake and mountains. A short walk into town and Queenstown Gardens. I would definitely stay here again in future trips.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. After reading reviews about the room we originally booked, we contacted the hotel directly via e-mail to ensure that they knew that the trip was for an important occasion for us and everything could be perfectly kept. They offered a room upgrade and we accepted. Our stay was overall satisfactory, they gave us brownies to welcome us which was nice. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view, however there are things that were a bit disappointing for us. The “continental breakfast” that is included was a jar of cereals, some bread left in the fridge, an orange juice, a yogurt and some mini spreads and some amenities such as tea and coffee sachets. That is really not something that someone expects when they booked an accomodation that says “breakfast included”. Also, they advertise the place with a “nearby” gym facility. The gym is a 20min walk to town and you have to pay a $23 dollar fee PER DAY. We were gutted when we heard that as we did not find this information anywhere prior to booking the hotel. The staff was super friendly, I think this is mostly a management and marketing issue than anything else.

The space is very nice and the view is great, but be advised it overlooks a very busy road so it’s not really restful. Also, the walls are thin and I could hear the people next to me talking at 2am. Great otherwise though!

Apartment itself was great, spacious and the view fabulous. However, communication was poor - they took 4 days to respond to my email. The rubbish area was overflowing, that was disgraceful in a pretty pricey establishment. Finally, there was no Sky TV. Every other place we stayed in New Zealand provided Sky, so that was poor also.

the beds were tiny!! no adult would be confortable. and the AC didnt come into the bedroom and they had no fans. also our parking space was occupied by housekeeping. and it was not clear thay gym access would come with a fee.
