Gorgeous Log Cabin features 1000 square feet of hand crafted architecture, interior and exterior native logs with vaulted ceilings. Floor plan includes large windows, lovely oak flooring and a wrap around wooden deck overseeing the tranquil Cabresto Creek with a shared secluded pond. The living area is an open floor plan with a wood stove and flat screen television. This cozy relaxing cabin invites you to one master suite with a queen bed and a functional loft with two queen beds for friends or family. Kitchen has a remarkable wine barrel bar for plenty of extra seating and dining table ready to entertain. Bathroom has a shower, double sinks, washer and dryer. Deck is accompanied with a gas grill, outdoor furniture, and the serene sound of the water fall from the pond to the creek. Breathtaking views every which way you look. Wi-Fi internet and basic cookware included. This log home is great for families, business travelers, artists, couples and family reunions, writers, hunters and more. Forest Service land surrounds the Ranch property. The surrounding area is filled with great attractions from Ski Taos aka (TSV), Red River Ski Area, Angel Fire Ski Resort, art museums, canoeing, fishing, horseback trail rides, hunting, festivals, mining, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, bicycling and much, much more. It is a great cabin! Most of our activities were in Red River so it was a bit of a drive back and forth. We knew this before we booked though. Also, the picture on the website should be updated as the new pitch addition was awesome!!

Good location

Pictures & description were a little deceiving. It said river front, it was a small creek. Still very cute and my son enjoyed fishing in the small pond. Beds were comfortable. It was a great location to get from Questa into red river through the mountain on our side by side or driving the highway.

Wonderful Cabin on the Water

We had an excellent stay. Communication with the host was prompt and attentive. Our kids loved playing outside around the lake and there was a stream right outside the house that we loved listening to.

Slightly Disappointed

This was my first time staying in an Air B&B that DID NOT supply paper towels, laundry detergent, basic spices/cooking spray. The bridge leading to our cabin was very rickety and inside the cabin the stairs to the loft area were loose and needed to be fixed. The curtains were see through and there were no blinds. I didn’t mind this, but if you are afraid of dogs be aware there are a lot of free range dogs in the area and at the cabin. Also, will be right next to several cabins and houses. It is not at all secluded if that is what you’re looking for. I felt like the host’s response times were extremely slow like hours to 1 day later. Overall it was ok, but I woul stay somewhere better next time.

Great Cabin

We stayed here for our vacation after Christmas. The cabin was exactly how it was portrayed in the ad. It was perfect size for the 6 of us. The location was convenient. The only complaint I have is the noise coming from up the hill. The moving of heavy equipment and loud trucks in the middle of the night. Other than that l, we had a wonderful stay.

Riverfront cabin in Cabresto Canyon

Absolutely loved this beautiful cabin, the creek runs under the deck. Pond is maybe 15 feet from the cabin. The nature is remarkable .

Heaven on earth

Overall impression was great!! Off the beaten path, but exactly what we enjoy! We would stay here again, if in the area. We had one glitch with the heater, but Lori resolved it the next day. We would recommend this property to any Vrbo patrons.

Everything you need

We loved the cabin, but we did think there was more of a Mountain View though based on listing. The clear water pond full of fish and the running creek sounds were the most relaxing part of our week. The beds are super comfortable, and the cabin has everything you need. Be aware that there is a saw mill behind the property that disrupts the serenity pretty often with chainsaw noises. Other than that, it was a perfect weekend!!

located very close to FS134 for quick access to trails to Cabresto Lake, Greenie Peek and on to Red River. Just pulled the SXS off the trailer and went. Its a bit confusing at night to find the location but the property mngr is awesome and will guide you in no matter the late hour of your arrival. Its very quiet area and the creek running by the cabins is very soothing.
