I recently had the most unfortunate experience of staying at this property, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing and regrettable the entire stay was. I feel compelled to share my dreadful experience. From the moment we checked in, it was evident that the owners prioritized profit over the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. Despite communicating in advance that we would be accompanied by two dogs and agreeing to an extra $$ for them, the owner’s greed became apparent during the payment process. All additional expenses were supposed to be included, but on the day of check-in, we received a call from the owner stating that an extra $$ for the dogs was not covered. This was in direct contradiction to our previous agreement. To make matters worse, during the interaction, the owner was unwilling to adjust the extra charge from the security deposit we had to give other than what VRBO takes. The real kicker came when we were denied our security deposit. After keeping us waiting for an unreasonable 20 days, we were shocked to receive an explanation that he had given us the property at a discount and, as a result, refused to refund the security deposit. This is not just unacceptable, but completely unethical. It left us with so much frustration knowing that they were more concerned with extracting every last buck from us than with offering a fair and transparent service.

The cottage outside is gorgeous but the inside is outdated, does not look like the few pictures posted, is in need of TLC, and is barely equipped with the essentials. The fire alarm seemed to be on and in working condition, but seeing it hanging from the ceiling left an unsettling feeling. The front and back doors don’t close properly unless they’re locked, which didn’t feel very safe. Most upsetting, images of a beach as if it were in the backyard. The listing says it’s an 8 minute walk away but it’s not. This water is not swimmable. There is a sign clearly stating this, which was not shown in the pics.There is also a cleaning fee that is added to our expenses but the cottage didn’t feel like it was very clean. We had to wipe things down and vacuum ourselves because there were lots of webs, dead bugs (even on top our beds and the counter), and dust.

Had a group of 10 friends get together for a bachelor party. It was a great space for us to celebrate together and we really enjoyed ourselves. The owners were always very responsive and helpful throughout the process. No issues at all and we had a great time! Would definitely recommend.

This property is dilapidated and in disrepair. We had trouble getting ahold of the people in order to check in. It was not well maintained. We ended up leaving and not staying any nights.

Owner of property is very helpful and responsive. Property is huge with lots of space to enjoy. 😊
