We arrived at this motel at exactly 8pm. There was a man exiting the lobby who walked right past us without a word, the employee we later gathered. The lobby was LOCKED with no number, no way to get a key. He knew we were there, but had disappeared by the time we realized we needed him. They do NOT answer their phone during their stated hours of 2pm-8pm, so there was NO way to get our key. I can't believe he just ignored us when he KNEW there were people with reservations that night. We were completely out the money and had to drive 2 more hours. The owner and expedia refuse to give us a refund as well.

The guest simply did not read the booking page. They booked a non-refundable room and did not follow the after-hours check-in procedure that was sent to them via Expedia. I am not sure how the guest arrived at closing time and then called during business hours to try to get a key, or why they expected to be served at the front desk after it's clearly listed closing time.

Facility is old and ran down. They took my money, and provided no room. office was closed when I arrived. It has been impossible to get a refund from Expedia.

We are sorry that your experience was not better. We are a family-run business and our hours are clearly listed on our Expedia page. Our after-hours check-in procedure is also posted on the outside of the building. We offer fully contactless check-ins 24/7 as well! Sadly, we cannot modify our operating hours to accommodate every individual schedule or we wouldn't be able to provide such amazing rooms at such low rates.

Zero service, couldn't stay the night.

We called multiple times before 8pm to let them know we were running late. Nobody picked up. When we got there around 9:30 there was no one there....a ghost town. We had to book a night in a hotel across the street. This morning they are still not picking up the phone.

So when we got there the motel was closed with a for sale sign on the front door. I was with out a room with 2 kids and had to stay 45 miles away in Ellis Kansas. It was a very rough trip and I did not appreciate the delima I was put in. I will not use Expedia again.

I am very sorry for the confusion. There are actually several businesses at this location. One is a restaurant/bar that is currently looking for a new owner, however, we certainly are not for sale at the motel here. For future reference, our entrance is located on the WEST side of the building. Our office is open until 8 pm, 7 days a week and our manager is available 24/7. We hope you give us another chance if you come through this way again.

Poor service closed hotel in run down area

The hotel was in poor condition and closed when I arrived at 800 pm and again at 10 pm with a helpwanted sign in front. I could not stay and every hotel around was sold out

Carpet dirty and bathroom needs maintenance. Curtain rod needs to be fixed or replaced

Clean,neat felt retro

Stayed one night during Spring Break so motel did not have evening desk clerk. The manager posted a phone number to call and came to the motel to check us in promptly. Jason was very accommodating
