WOW Just WOW. Really cute cabin and plenty of room. The property is just what I was hoping for (trees and nature). Only 25 minutes to Ocala and 20 minutes to Gainesville. I got to watch the neighbors' horses and Daynes chicken every morning on the screened in porch while having my coffee.Dayne is a wonderful host.

Host was great, house was cute. Quiet area which I was really looking for. It would have been nice to just take the dogs out the back door into a securely fenced area. The fenced area is a paddock behind the chicken coop (which my dogs enjoyed!). But considering how welcoming the host was to my guys, it’s all good!

Beds were comfortable, kitchen had plenty of supplies, lots of cobwebs and I got many spider bites. Also, cute chickens on the property, fresh eggs, which was wonderful, but since the grounds are not treated, my dog had 9 ticks and found 2 on me. It was relaxing and beautiful and convenient for our purpose in the area

Amazing time in the cabin

Great stay for the family

Cosy home with lots of outdoor space. Our family had a great time. One thing to consider is that the up stairs bedroom has a door that separates the two twin beds from the queen. This was a nice surprise to see when we arrived. The owners were very nice and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time.

Perfect Getaway

This property is nestled between beautiful horses and equally beautiful scenery. Everything from the welcome basket, which included treats for my fur babies, to a dozen fresh eggs was spot on! We love getting fresh eggs from the coop everyday and meeting the animals from the neighbors. The cabin is very comfortable and we love the treats! Probably the dogs who enjoyed them the most!

Relaxing Getaway

Our family loved this cabin so much - we visited for a second time...and it was just as we remembered it. Very sweet & homey location in the country surrounded by horse land, peace & quiet. Charming home that offers the perfect place to spend time with your family & actually see the stars in the sky at night. Owners were very responsive and super friendly. Family Time

Had a great last minute family mini-vacay in a country setting. This is our 3rd time staying at this cabin...we just love this place. It is just so homey and relaxing. Tranquil and Beautiful

The property is absolutely breathtaking! The log cabin is so special and it is like stepping back in time with the way it is put together. Fresh eggs and chickens make you feel as though you are Grandma's. The owner of the property is friendly and wants your stay to be the utmost. The welcome basket was such a nice treat. Carolina Log Cabin in Florida

Our teen grandsons and us enjoyed this great cabin and the chickens out back. The ambiance was great and the extras reflected the hospitality of Marie. It was nice having a fire in the fireplace each morning. On our rain day, the kitchen was large enough and had all that we needed to cook with our grandsons. Nearby restaurants that we enjoyed were the Iron Skillet, the Yearling and the Ivy House.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this log cabin. It is much more then we ever expected. Clean and cozy, comfortable with details. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds are comfortable, gas grill and charcoal grill outside on a porch. Fresh eggs was just heavenly delicious. Great Getaway!

We had a great time is this cute farm in the middle of no where! my 5 y.o. and 8 y.o daughters enjoyed every minute of it, from being able to feed the chickens and goats , to picking their own eggs, it felt like we where truly away from reality! The property was clean, cozy and appropriately decorated to give it a vintage farm feel. The only down side is that 8 people comfortably sleep and there was only 1 full bathroom. We would definitely return just because we had a great time with the family and the animals!
