Had just 1 night at the hotel. Doesn't look anything from outside, but its very bice once you walk in. Breakfast was good too. Can't beat it for that price. Spot on.

Very close to the station so perfect for those arriving by train. Stairs to first floor where the lift starts. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again

Great, for the most part

The mattress on the bed in my room was uncomfortable, but everything else was very nice.

A little gritty but clean

The hotel's common areas are nicer than the rooms which are a little rundown although clean. Very quiet so we slept well. Good breakfast provided. Unfortunately, some guests were heavy smokers and the corridors and our bathroom smelt of smoke, and the room also smelt faintly of stale smoke. Laura, the receptionist, was very helpful and we enjoyed talking to her. There is paid parking in a secure underground garage across the street from the hotel. The area around the hotel is rather gritty - Reggio's "Chinatown" - but there were no incidents during our stay. There are no good eating places in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (the kebab joint around the corner was quite bad). A plus was the laundromat around the corner - the detergent dispenser is built into the Miele washing machine and the tumbler is suspended within the frame so during the spin cycle the machine does not vibrate. I've never seen either feature (both great) in US commercial laundry machines. There is also a large supermarket (Coop) further up the street. One negative was when we asked for recommendations to visit an acetaia and parmagiano reggiano producer, the manager on duty referred us to a tour agency which charged us 100 Euros to arrange our visits and for a Google map with directions. We found out later that the tours are free and we could have Googled the maps ourselves.

Comodo e acolhedor

Em frente a estação central de Reggio, muito proximo ao centro histórico, com estrutura simples mas acolhedora, cama confortavel, chuveiro e calefação quentes e funcionando bem. O cafe da manhã deixa um pouco a desejar pela escassez de frutas e para quem tem alguma dificuldade de locomoção, o fato do elevador nao servir ao andar terreo, obrigando a subir um lance de escadas, pode nao ser conveniente . O pessoal é extremamente gentil e pronto a ajudar em qualquer situação. Esta foi a terceira vez que me hospedei no hotel e eu e meu grupo tivemos um problema na cidade, relacionado a um curso no qual nos inscrevemos e que nao se realizou. O hotel nao criou problemas diante da nossa partida antecipada, ao contrário, nos ajudou naquilo que lhes era possivel fazer. Voltarei a me hospedar, sempre que voltar a Reggio Emilia.

Struttura non nuovissima, ma decisamente ben tenuta, con arredi classici che crea un contrasto interessante con il circondario. La zona della stazione, non particolarmente affascinante, è però praticissima per raggiungere facilmente il centro città e non crea problemi per chi, viaggiando in auto, non vuole incorrere nello Ztl. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. La mia stanza dava sull'interno ed era particolarmente silenziosa.
