Posted Nov. 29, 2015 on HotelsGreat stay. Not much to do in the nearby area. Hotel needs room updates as does the hallways.

Peaceful
Posted Mar. 10, 2015 on HotelsWe enter the town in darkness and an overcast sky. All my maps was forgotten at home and google GPS on my cellphone was not precise. The SAP of NRB escorted us to the entrance of the (2)hotel. [without sirens of course :) ]
The stay at the hotel was pleasant; Staff are friendly. Good all over experience.
The only draw-back was the missing fridge in every room, as this handicap a person a bit when leaving early and arriving late also staying in during times and a guest do not always wants to use the dining room.
Our "cooler bag" was not a cooler after all...there are seams and the water of the ice melted through. Have to leave it in the shower.
Palm beach is walking distance and the swimming areas are in close proximity too.
The closest shopping mall we only discover on the 3rd day. The cafe just around the corner, on the same block as the hotel give necessities such as ice, milk, bread etc.
Just remember: There are 3 Protea hotels in NRB. One is close to the (1)yacht club [not our scene]; just around the corner or before you find our hotel (2)another, but we felt it's a bit large and busy.
We recommend this hotel for those who love quietness and also for those who have children and want to be close to the sea and beaches.
It's an affordable little haven I must add.
