Checkin and checkout could not have been easier. Our host, Davide, was always available and quickly answered every question we had. The apartment is quite big, and the kitchen and dining area provided plenty of space to prepare meals at home. There is a surprising amount of storage space (closets, dressers, etc.), which would be quite useful for families traveling with children, and people visiting with lots of sports equipment. The three balconies were lovely, providing lots of fresh air and a comfortable place to sit and relax. The location is perfect, with a large grocery store right around the corner and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. The central location also made it very easy to get around by car or bus. The building is updated and well-appointed, with secure and straightforward access. The elevator is pretty big with space for lots of luggage or sports equipment. We did not hear any noise from the other apartments, and when the balcony windows were closed we were not bothered much by noise from the street. On the weekend nights, you can hear some chatter from across the street at the Irish pub (which was a very nice place to sit and have a relaxed coffee or cocktail). The exterior metal shades do a good job of dampening the chatter noise. For light sleepers or families with children who are worried about street noise, a small fan or sound machine would be sufficient to muffle the outdoor sounds.
