The apartment was ok.Most importantly, the heat is only by space heaters. Not my preference and this should have been noted in the description. I don not like to sleep with a space heater on. I asked for an extra blanket as the comforters were summer-weather thin. I didn't get one. There was only one living room chair, not two as in the picture. They are very worn. The bed in the second bedroom is very low, maybe 8-10 inches off the floor. If you want to cook, the kitchenware is limited. But if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay, the price is good.
We stayed with are son who has cancer and was there for surgery. Stairs were so steep and dark. Shower base leaked in the corner. No water pressure. Kitchen is a walkway connecting bedrooms. Dorm size fridge. Tried reporting a man sleeping in his truck outside our door. Took 24 hours for host to do anything. They stated he was in apartment below us. Later that day notice he was back sleeping in his truck where he stayed for the next 2 days. We ended up leave 2 days early and staying at a hotel . Because we felt unsafe and did not want to leave every morning walking by this man watching us.
Very close to Mayo and the property was plowed immediately after a snowfall. They were not ready for us when we arrived so we took a walk and then sat in the car while they made the bed. It was way over priced for the quality. Surprised there werenât coat racks or a place to put wet boots. The towels should be used as rags instead of for bathing. Overall disappointing.
Apartment was leading up to it were very steep. There was no light switch at the top of the stairs making it very dangerous and dark. We were able to leave a day early due to my husbandâs early release from the hospital and was promised a refund from the property manager for the day we left, October 1. I contacted him many times via email and he never responded. Very disappointed with the lack of communication!
