The view from the rooftop patio is our highlight for sure. The apartment is in a great location, very close to all the main highlights of Roma. The kitchen had all the basics as well as the bathroom.

Great Location Near Colosseum

This apartment is in a really great location near the Colosseo metro stop. Super convenient! Colosseum just outside. Such an amazing way to arrive in Rome! Lots of great restaurants just outside the front door. You'll want to eat out as kitchen is quite small and on top floor of apartment. You have to climb steep narrow stairs of apartment to get to it. To get to the actual apartment you have to climb 5 flights of steep stairs so keep that in mind when booking. There is a nice deck on top floor of apartment with a washing machine on it. The floor boards are quite rickety up there, but it was nice to sit out there. Apartment overall is nice, but could use a little face lift. We loved our stay in Rome!

Great Location. Fantastic Terrace.

We stated in May 2025. This apartment is great for two people. The bed was comfortable, it has a small, but complete kitchen, and an outstanding terrace. It's just a five minute walk from the Colosseum and the Colosseum Metro stop. The interior is somewhat plain, but the rooftop outdoor terrace is outstanding with views of several historical sites including a portion of the Colosseum.We were met at the apartment by Mateo who was very responsive through the VRBO app and a messaging tool. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is at the top of five steep flights of cement stairs with no elevator. The terrace is another flight up. If you have small children, a large amount of luggage, or any issues climbing stairs, this may not be the best choice for you. The apartment has heating and air conditioning, but we didn't need either in May. Windows were sufficient for us. It has a dishwasher, small fridge and freezer, small oven and a four burner gas cooktop. I saw a smoke alarm on the living room level and a carbon monoxide alarm in the upstairs kitchen. The terrace has a table and chairs for six, but is much larger than that. It also has a small clothes washer. Overall, the location was fantastic and the hosts were very responsive. We would stay here again.

Jem in the middle of everything

Be warned you have to walk up 5 flights of steep stairs to get there but is WELL WORTH IT! The terrace is amazing. You can see key monuments from it - icluding the colosseum from the kitchen window! Its a perfect home base in the middle of it all as you explore the city. 10 out of 10 would book here again!

Why are there no reviews for this property?

Host was pleasant but property was not really as advertised. Generally poor upkeep and fairly run down. I feel that if others were able to leave an honest review it would force the host to tighten the place up a bit. I would not stay in this property again.

Extrêmement bien situé, dans une rue tranquille. À proximité du Colisée.

C’est un joli appartement. Au cinquième étage. Mais ne vous en faites pas, ça se monte bien. La cuisine et la salle de bain auraient besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement. Les planches de la terrasse également. Mais si on laisse cela de côté, la vue sur la terrasse pour y manger le matin le midi ou le soir est exceptionnelle. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.
