The room is clean and charming, with a cozy atmosphere. The location is very convenientâjust 120 meters from the nearest train station, and Line A takes you directly to most of the main tourist attractions. The only downside is parking, which can be quite difficult to find. I was lucky to get a spot right in front of Lanzies Guesthouse. Max was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even better.
Dear Max, we, two women aged 62 and 70, thank you for your kindness, helpfulness and reliability. The room and bathroom were clean and well-kept, and appropriate for the price. The outdoor seating area needed some love and care. The kitchen could be used for breakfast, but the chairs were not very comfortable. The house and the surrounding area were safe and the transport links were very good.
Lanzies guesthouse was wonderful. We stayed in the triple room. Beds were very comfortable. Was so nice to have a large communal garden and kitchen ( shared with 2 other rooms). Had a very homely feel to the place. The room was big and the area was quiet and very clean. The triple room had air con, a mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker (with pods provided!) and tea/sugar etc. the kitchen was also fully equipped with cutlery and plates/ hob/ microwave and fridge. we were so happy that the triple room had an actual single bed (as well as the double) instead of a sofa bed like most other places. We have no negative comments about the room but just a tip: to get consistent hot water in the bathroom sink make sure the tap is fully up and to the left otherwise the hot water is intermittent. This is not a complaint but just different to what we were used to.
Max was very accommodating and provided an iron/ ironing board. He also responded very quickly to messages (before and during the stay) and gave us a map on the first day and outlined all the main attractions and how to get there. This was a big help as we had never been to Rome before!
The location of the guesthouse was great- Right next to the metro and bus stops, close to Vatican city and easy access into the city centre for attractions. There were many restaurants nearby but if you take a 5-10 min bus ride you'll find many more restaurants.
Would definitely recommend Lanzies Guesthouse
