Small rooms but comfortable

We had 3 people, so room was crowded. No elevator to the 2nd floor. Staff only from 8am-8pm. Beds were ok. Room was clean. Area felt a little sketchy but was close to airport. Staff was very friendly and helped with getting taxi set up to Rome and early ride to airport.

This place looks like a rundown old amusement park. It is not in a nice part of town and it was extremely ghetto. I felt unsafe. It was like a motel. There was a lot of noise in the hall in the evenings. Absolutely no services whatsoever, couldn’t even get hot water or a coffee. Local taxis do not stop. And you have to pay €35 just to go down the street into town. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

It was a very basic place, clean and workable, but not very appealing from the outside. This place is locked up like Fort Knox and makes you feel a little unsafe, especially after looking from the dirt parking lot. It does look worse than it is, but our stay was ok.

The hotel and staff were nice. The room was clean and modern. They offer a discounted airport shuttle service that I highly recommend because public transportation to the area is not convenient and a regular taxi from/to the airport is very expensive (€35) for such a short drive. In hindsight, it would have been better to enjoy the last night still exploring in Rome and just take the train directly to the airport in the morning instead

Low cost hotel Fumincino

This hotel is a low cost option in fumincino near the airport. As such it may be a good option for you. The room is clean enough but unattractive. Sheets are rough, towels are scarce and rough. The room felt dark. However it was adequate for a low cost stay. The staff were helpful and their shuttle from the airport cheaper than any other option. (25 euros) the shower was hot and strong and therr are grocery stores near by. If you want a cheaper place to sleep and don’t care about atmosphere this is a good option.

Good to be close to the airport for early morning flight. Very basic accommodation. Reception is not open from 8pm - 8 am. So never actually saw any staff. But very good communication via WhatsApp. Just not sure what you would do if there was a problem overnight?
