Great stay at Vincent House

Effective communication from Ms. Cinzia, great welcome and instruction. The apartment is accuracy as listed, close to bus station which take you to the train station in a few stops. Small suggestion: having rubber flipflop in the house.

Unfortunate circumstances

Place is cute but unfortunately it smells bad. Very predominant smell like old and cigarette smoke. It was very unfortunate and inconvenient because I had to come up with an emergency plan to leave my wife who suffers from allergies at another location and I had to stay here with my daughters, which made it very difficult to make plans with the family and friends that were staying in Italy. I brought up the issue of the smell with the apartment manager but all she told me was that that was not the apartment management's fault. This apartment is also advertised as having free parking but what they meant was that you can park for free on nearby streets wherever you find an empty parking space. Believe me, this was not easy as most times I had to look for nearly an hour going around and around until someone moved their vehicle and I prayed that I could fit the rental car in that tiny space. Most of the time I had to park several blocks away. I have a daughter with a disability and I brought our disabled window parking tag but I did not understand their handy capped rules and I wound up getting a ticket when I used a handicapped parking and that same day one of the tires was mysteriously flat [punctured on the tire wall] - The owner of this apartment should remove the free parking from their description as this would be considered false. I think the smell problem can also be solved with a fresh coat of paint on the walls and old furniture

Excellent

It was a great stay. You have everything you need and it's clean and quiet. There are some shops around for supplies. It's very easy and fast to get to the city center with the metro. From the metro station, there are 2 ways to get to the apartment, but one of them has some steps to climb. You can get a bus for a few stops or just walk for either of them. If you have a very early train to catch like we did, it's doable if you check the bus schedule beforehand. The host was very kind to wait for us when we checked in late in the evening. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. Cinzia our host was very helpful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The garden patio was very nice. The only drawback was the walk to get there. My husband had difficulty with the steep streets.

Hidden gem in non-touristy location

This is a great rental for a couple. A short walk from the metro and only 15-20 minutes by train to the city center. It was nice to be away from the heavy tourist areas and get a nice view into the suburban-Italy-lifestyle

Narrow streets

Host met us at the apartment and found someone to move their car so we could park ours for four days. We were close to the Metro and bus lines. Great spot close grocery.

Annonce mensongère

Nous avons été très déçu car dans l'annonce il était écrit " grâce au parking de l'hébergement " ce qui signifie que l'appartement bénéficiait d'une place de parking privative or il n'en était rien! Effectivement quand nous avons demandé à notre hôte où se situait le parking de l'hébergement elle nous a proposé de nous garer dans la rue sur une place réservée aux personnes handicapées. Bien entendu, ceci n'a pas été pour nous une solution acceptable car nous respectons les personnes en situation de handicap.
