With unsurpassed sunrise and sunset views of the south and western Blue Ridge, this is truly one of the most spectacular mountain homes you will find anywhere! From the moment you enter you are struck by the panoramic view perfectly framed by the floor to ceiling windows and the overwhelming quality, craftsmanship and luxury of the post and beam style great room.

An architectural gem, this home’s open floor plan flows from the massive great room to the dream chef’s kitchen, with dining for 18+ and is highlighted by the massive double-sided fireplace that connects the cozy living room, library and game room. Walk out to the expansive, multi-level deck with a private, oversized 8-person hot tub, and you will enjoy from the privacy of your own home the same breathtaking views that people come from far and wide to enjoy at the Devils Knob Overlook, just 500 feet down the street. The Overlook is a popular place for outdoor weddings because of the stunning backdrop, and this home makes a wonderful place for bridal party preparations and photos.

Perfect for a multi-generational family escape, this home features a main-level king-suite and two more primary suites on the second floor, all with amazing views, oversized windows and spa baths. In addition, there are two bunk rooms, each with their own private full bath, a twin-over-double bunk bed and futon. We love this place. We’ve now stayed here twice for a long weekend in October with three families (each with 3 young kids). It is such a great house to relax in, cook in, play in - and the kids love the hot tub, bunk beds etc! We love the views and proximity to hiking. We will be back!

Beautiful mountain home

We loved Heaven on Earth. The house is beautiful and only upstaged by the views! It is spacious and clean and has all you need for a short stay. We did a weekend trip with 3 families and our young kids for hiking and fall foliage and it was perfect.

Stayed here with a group of 16 and it was perfect. The house was super spacious, really nice, and had everything we needed. The views from the back patio were amazing with the mountains in every direction. It rained a bit during our stay, but honestly the clouds rolling over the mountains made it even better. The house is in close proximity to various hiking trails, lakes and amazing restaurants/breweries. The host was also super responsive and helpful the whole time. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone that comes across this property!

Best place on the mountain

We love Wintergreen. We used to own a house up there so we know the area very well. This was our first time staying at this property and not only did it have the marvelous view from the top of the mountain that only devils knob loop has, but the house itself was everything we could've asked for and more. Very comfortable and very beautiful. We hope we will get to come back and stay here again. It is definitely our new favorite up on the mountain.
