Good stay for one night although the room was right on the roadside so some traffic noise particularly annoying in the early morning. Good food, dinner and breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
The weather was very bad, ice and snow. Log burners in hotel helped my mood on arrival. The hotel has good parking and the staff very helpful, evening meal very good and also breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was well sized and all clean and comfortable. Cannot think of anything negative. Apart from the weather.
Will stay there again next time I need a hotel in the area.
Wonderful old pub. The staff was very friendly. I hung out at the pub for trivia night. Great food and beer and quiet rooms. Rooms are across the street from the pub so noise not a problem.
Stayed previously but gave it another go.
Really poor.
Rooms dated and zero phone signal and wifi. Really frustrating when having to do work.
Breakfast was terrible, waited ages to be seen and seated, poor quality food and service was lazy.
Food in the evening was not bad. Had to return a pint due to it having floating bits in it
Wont be stopping again
Good value, clean, comfortable, but service nt gr8
A beautiful village and a very nice pub and hotel. Excellent value - clean, comfortable. Check in was slow and a little awkward but not unpleasant. Beer prices a little high but understandable for location. Food perfectly fine but not remarkable.
Check in was a little chaotic and not welcoming. In the morning I ended up checking out with the cleaning lady as no other staff could be found. Absolutely no WiFi in the room and instruction to connect through the iCloud didnât make sense and didnât work. Room and deco good although a little dark, shower was very good. Would use again if in the area. TIP the car park for the accommodation is directly across the road from pub car park.
