Needs renovating

No receptionist, waited a while to get room key. Room very dusty and old fashioned 1 towel between us both. No toilet brush and a dribble of shower gel in dispenser. Was kept awake by a flood light shinign through curtains

We had a lovely weekend visiting family staying at the brentwood we had a lovely family room with 2 bathrooms.. staff were so good with our 3 year ola which was so nice as he can be abit of a handfull.. we travel up north alot to see family and we will definitely be trying to book here again

The inn/pub was well attended with nice staff. Our only complaint was that there wasn't any salad option on the menu...not even the old caesar in a bag. As it was a work stay, one can only eat so many meat and chips.

The whole property looked dilapidated and in need of renovation. Just an example, the bathroom door handle had four screws, two were too big while two hadn't been fitted properly.

We paid £45 for a Sunday night & although the hotel is a little bit tired, for the price it was great! Clean, comfy bed & the staff are lovely. Didn’t book breakfast as we had to leave really early, but what we saw of it it looked great.

Brentwood Hotel

Pub food and breakfast good. Room very tired, toilet did not flush properly. Others in our party had leaks in their bathroom. Bathroom finishings very poor condition.

Faded but friendly

The hotel has seen better days. It's creaky, faded, with outdated furnishing and facilities. But welcoming, safe, comfortable, with excellent service and a decent breakfast, so a very nice place to stay for the night. Thank you.
