We were disappointed. Our bathroom had mold above the shower and there was a bunch of mosquitos in the room. We had to switch rooms it was supposed to be a 2 day stay we only stayed for one due to the room conditions. The pictures I saw online we not the room I was in.

Owner should take better care of the space

So overpriced. $320 for one night literally just because it’s across from the beach. The photos confused us because it looked more updated and upkept. This hotel needs a total face lift - it’s a shame how the owners are keeping it. I grew up in Monmouth beach and was just staying there with my partner while we visited my parents and were close to the ferry back to the city. I always thought it would be so cute but honestly this ain’t it.

The only good thing about this hotel is that beach is near by. There’s is no safety at all. The door lock from my room wasn’t working. I complained to the manager, they didn’t do anything about it. I couldn’t even sleep the whole night normally because it didn’t feel safe. Besides that was no light in a room, was dark like in a tomb. Pool looks dirty and disgusting I didn’t risk even to step there. And bar was closed too, but when you check in they sand you kind of like a welcoming text message which kindly invites you to enjoy food and drink from the bar. When you ask reception they confirm that is closed on week day or something. So overall very bad experience, be careful, check your room before you stay there , it might be tricky and management doesn’t help only bla bla bla

The location is great and it has a few perks. You are able to use the facilities of the hotel if you can get there early as well as after you checkout. The new tower is really nice. The older rooms are OK if you are only spending a few days.

You couldn’t ask for a better location being right across the street from a nice quiet beach. The room was fine, we didn’t spend much time in it. Nice pool and restaurant. No complaints.

We stayed at the newly renovated part of the hotel, which has great ocean view and river view. Room is spacious, quiet and comfortable. The only complain is the pool water is too cold and needs a better cleaning. But, overall we had a great experience there.

We chose the low-cost rate, so I would not do that again. The room was very small, the internet did not work - they have Wi-Fi, but no internet connection. The TV received one channel. The refrigerator emitted a bright spark when it turned off or on, so we unplugged it as it lite up the room in the dark. The "ocean view" rooms are in a different and newer building and are probably more comfortable. We only stayed for 2 nights, The bed was comfortable and the AC worked, but noisy. Shower was OK - no pressure balance so if someone flushed a toilet nearby, you get a shot of very hot water. Staff was nice.

Beautiful area. Did not get service when requested, such as cleaning room or fresh towels. Multiple phone requests where made and finally we received service. The employees were very responsive and helpful when apporoached and asked for assistance.

Stay in the new section. Very nice modern rooms. Wish-all the rooms facing the ocean had balconies but they have wall to ceiling windows. Very large bathroom which was nice. Pool and pool bar and grill were bonus!!
