Angie the manageress could not do enough and all the staff were superb. Room clean, breakfast worth every penny. Had some guests from the USA who were blown away by the level of service given, Can't reccomend highly enough

Good stay, odd issue with adjoining rooms
Posted Feb. 3, 2024 on HotelsThe hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. We were there for an event which was well managed and catered, and we decided to book a couple of rooms to make it easy to get ready and so we could enjoy the evening and not worry about driving.
We did book 2 twin rooms as we are a family of 4 and there were no options for us all in a room together. I did then request adjoining rooms over email and this was accepted, but when we arrived we were told it now wasn't possible, so we had a room between us, which was a bit annoying as they could have said in the email if it wasn't possible. I didn't think anyone was in that room though - we didn't hear anyone at all which is even more odd! If it is because we booked twin rooms and they don't adjoin, I would have been happy to swap one to a double, but nothing was offered...
Anyway, we did end up putting the kids in their own room and it all worked out in the end. We briefly used to pool which was nice. We also had breakfast which was good - standard buffet but not so busy as to require queuing and good times of availability (until 10.30am).

Posted Jan. 25, 2024 on HotelsDisappointing this time around, service at reception was slow and slightly awkward, room decor was tired, communal areas pleasant, breakfast good. Overall not good value for money @ £117 for one night. Not sure i can justify another stay here at this price.
