The owners are very nice but it was very, very noisy. The room was clean but no bedside table lamp and the only light wasnât connected to the wall switch it had to be unplugged.
There is one bad review on this place and I wish I listened to it. This place is run down, old, and loud. At check in the girl at the front was very friendly but then a gentlemen came up to the window requiring us to pay $20 cash only for a room deposit after the room was paid for already on Expedia, we found this very weird and sketchy. My room was dirty, blankets and pillows had stains, side tables were missing doors, hair on the counter⊠and to top it off the bed was incredibly squeaky and loud. I wish I was joking about this and I thought the last review was joking but itâs legit no joke and wakes you up when you move in your sleep. This place was inexpensive so there was one positive at least.
The room reeked of cigarette smoke and whatever chemicals they used to mop the floor with. When booking I wasn't given the option of a smoking or non smoking room so I assumed it would be non smoking. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, but a hole in the ceiling where one used to be. There were cigarette burns all over the bathroom sink. The bathroom was very small, when sitting on the child sized toilet my knees were nearly touching the wall, and I'm about 5'7". The shower head was in a wierd place and made it hard to use. The lights outside our room were very bright white LED's which gave the area a prison feel. There was garbage strewn about the sidewalk in front of the dumpster, but someone did pick it up at one point. I was charged $20 cash for adding a friend last minute to my room, as well as a $20 deposit which was given back to me at checkout, but wasn't mentioned when during booking. Despite all of this, the manager was very friendly and easy to deal with, and readily available to help when I accidentaly locked my key in the room. I probably won't stay here again and would gladly spend double to stay at the Sheraton or Hyatt next time I'm in town.
Because it was so small I didn't expect it to be so charming. Though going through rentiavion I felt at home would stay again Bathroom clean very important
I reserved a two bed room and then they tried to put me in a one bed room. Then they tried to move to a room that reaked of cigarette smoke. I told them I would stay somewhere else since they didn't have what I reserved. The owner said he would refund me, but he didn't. I called him the next day and he again said he would refund me, he didn't. This happened multiple times, and I had to spend hours on the phone with Expedia getting a refund. I do not recommend this establishment.
I had a bad experience. The room had no light. The plumbing wasnât working. It smelled dirty. The sheets and pillows were dirty. They were homeless people outside harassing us. My wife and I felt unsafe and we left and we did not want to stay there and theyâre refusing to give us a refund. You guys need to do something about this.
It was a peaceful stay beside the traffic it was very quiet the only problem i had was some guy knocking on my door claiming his card would not open his door .i told him i could not help him and told him he had to go to the office. The staff was very friendly and was quick to get me registered.the bed was a little squeaky but i was still able to sleep well
The hotel was excellent for the price charged. It wasn't the Waldorf but was a affordable, convenient, and welcome place to stay in a time when it seems every room in town over charges by 20 or 30 %. When lookad at with that in mind it was 5 star.
I stayed here the other night and before I even had time to unpack, I was chased into my room and threatened by a crazy person staying at the hotel, the owners wouldnât refund and even sent the police away I wouldnât stay here if you want a safe place to stay.
It was OK
Attendant not so friendly
Asked for a cash deopsit. Did not want to charge credit card.
Had to wait for him to inspect the room in order for me to have credit returned.
I don't like drinking water from the bathroom sink. There was only one sink in the room. The bottled water at the front desk was too expensive. And the water tasted like it was tap water.
