great option, would stay again

I made the right choice! i was going to a show at golden 1 center and needed a place to stay. the delta king was PERFECT. it was walking distance and there were plenty of food and drink choices along the way. also it was just fun to be on a boat! (cue lonely the island song) the staff was nice and helpful. would definitely recommend!

I had always wanted to stay on the Delta King, and it turned out to be a really fun and memorable experience. The location was super convenient, and one of the best parts was being able to just sit out on the lower deck and enjoy the atmosphere of the river and Old Sacramento. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The rooms did not provide shampoo, which was a huge inconvenience for an overnight stay. The valet parking also took more time than expected—it would have been much easier to have standard come-and-go parking instead of waiting for the valet, especially when multiple cars were ahead. On the positive side, breakfast was very good and the bar had a nice atmosphere. The only hiccup there was that my husband ordered a pale ale but was served an IPA instead. Overall, I’m glad I finally got the chance to stay here. It’s a unique spot with plenty of charm, though a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

We went to Sacramento to watch a baseball game, the Athletics vs Red Sox I was looking for places to stay. Everything was pretty expensive and I hate paying tons of money for a room. When all I’m going to do is spend the night you know.! I came across this hotel looked very interesting so I thought we would give it a try. Very nostalgic located in a fantastic location in old town Sacramento. Could walk to the game tons of dining and little shops and stores. The rooms are on the Small side but again that didn’t bother me. The bathrooms are small as well however they were very, very clean. The only complaint I have is the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would’ve hoped for, but it wasn’t totally uncomfortable either so all in all not too bad. There is a train that runs close by and there’s lots of sea otters that like to talk all night long so if you’re a light sleeper, I suggest taking some earplugs.. It was very beautiful on the Sacramento river and you could sit out outside the bar area and watch as boats go by and jet, skis and all of that. I would definitely stay here again, especially knowing what I know now the price is right and the location is great.

Very convenient for A’s baseball. Clean well kept. This is an old boat . rooms are small. Old Sacramento perhaps not as developed as we had hoped for . convenient access however to downtown. Nice views in the morning, looking out over the river.
