We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before and really liked the property but this most recent stay was disappointing. We saw a sign in the lobby that announced that they were under new management. Our room was fairly clean but we found it odd that besides the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in shower dispensers, there was just a single small wrapped bar of soap on the bathroom sink counter. No soap dish. Definitely appeared as if they were cutting costs. Our shampoo dispenser was completely empty on day 2 of our stay and we requested a refill. Fresh towels were brought but we still didn’t get any shampoo. The complimentary breakfast also was disappointing. Fresh fruit offerings were unpeeled frozen bananas and fruit salad that appeared to be canned. Hot breakfast offerings were the same sausages with scrambled eggs for 3 days in a row. We enjoyed our previous stays here but it seems to have gone downhill due to mgmt’s decisions to cut costs.

This was a good place to stay for work. My only complaint is that the hotel still has carpets. I don't understand why hotels have carpets. I find them disgusting.

I stayed at this property many times before and always gad a great experience.its been almost a year since my last visit, completely different, Terrible staff and I don’t even know what on earth they served for breakfast, some runny eggs mixed together with some kind of Mexican powder, not just me but other guests were shocked and surprised. One of the guests actually asked for the manager and asked “do you serve any eggs for breakfast?”. No potatoes, only sausages and weird eggs, seriously nothing else. We are so convinced that they made that terrible egg thing, just enough to scare the guests away but not too much to cut into their costs because this garbage will end up in the trash. Never again, very disappointing because it is a very nice hotel for me to stay whenever I go visit my son at UC Davis.

Stayed here for SacAnime over Labor Day weekend. Rooms are spacious and nice with a modern design. A/C works like a dream in 100+ degree heat. The only real issue I had was with parking. Lots of people in full size SUV's, Lifted pickups, full size trucks, etc. parking in spots designed and reserved for compact vehicles. Had to park on street several nights and was still getting charged $12/day for parking I couldn't use.
