Liked: Cleanliness
We rented 2 of the tree houses. I bed was good the other poor(yurt 1) coffee maker didn’t work. No signage to indicate reception so had to find someone from the restaurant to assist which he did. If you are looking for a rustic experience this is it.
We have got upgraded to a yurt because our suite was being renovated. In the first hours of checking in the water ran out completely, so I couldn't take a shower.
I was trying to call them, but was just taking rounds on the answering machine with no option to talk to a human. I had to walk and talk to the staff to get it fixed. Luckily, they got it sorted out, but that was pretty late: around 11pm.
Otherwise a yurt is really nice and has great amenities: kitchen, ac. It was clean overall, but there were some spiderwebs and the hair dryer was first.
Overall, I can recommend the place. Hopefully you will not having issues and this was just a one off accident.
Stopped for a night on way home from east coast - excellent, spacious cabins for those looking for something other than hotel/motel accommodations
There is a restaurant on premise too with reasonably priced menu
I had a very disappointing experience at this property. Upon arrival, I was informed that no standard rooms were available, even though I had a confirmed booking. Instead, we were directed to a cottage that lacked basic facilities, including a washroom — something that was never mentioned or shown in the original listing.
When I raised the issue with staff, they were unhelpful and insisted that this was what had been booked. They offered an alternative only if we paid extra, which felt unfair and misleading, considering we had already secured a confirmed reservation.
This experience was stressful and not what we expected after a long journey. I would not recommend this property, and I suggest travelers double-check the details of their booking before arrival.
An incredible place to stay. Gorgeous setting in the woods, nice clean cabin with everything you need to enjoy the property and a restaurant down the lane. Waited out a big snow storm here in a postcard setting. Beautiful property and only minutes from the transcanada hwy.
The absolute kindest people work here. We had a two bedroom Chalet for the night and it was warm and cozy with a fireplace, full kitchen, and lots of towels. It was snowing when we arrived and they plowed the chalet's driveway when we checked in! Great experience.
