The Lake is Our Pool ♡ Frontlake Villa & Park / Sleeps 12 +1 Baby / Pet Friendly

Villa Angela is an authentic Italian Riviera Villa from the Twenties. The incredible 1500square meter garden has private direct access to the lake.

Our location is unrivaled: within a 10 minute walk from the historical promenade of SalĂČ, you will enjoy your private stretch of the coast at the very heart of Lake Garda.

Villa Angela comfortably hosts up to 12 people + 1baby. All rooms and balconies of the house face the garden and the blue gulf of SalĂČ!

Villa Angela is the ideal destination for families. We are fully geared for children! You will find here a crib with rails, a high chair, changing mat, toys and inflatables. Pets enjoy the safety of the enclosed garden too.

The villa has three storeys, with four double bedrooms (three with a double bed, one with two queen beds, and one with two twin beds), a triple bedroom and one single bedroom. We also have a baby crib (60x120 cm, 24"x48").

You will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room, three bathrooms, and a fully furnished outside terrace with a barbecue.

*We collect Stay Tax upon arrival (2€ per person per night).
*We also ask for a refundable damage deposit of 300€ in cash, that will be wired back to you the day after your departure when no damage has occurred (damage deposit of €1,000 over New Year's Eve).

Wundervolle Lage der Villa direkt am See

Villa Angela besticht durch ihre traumhafte und einzigartige Lage direkt am See, eingebettet in einen wunderschönen Garten. Die großzĂŒgige Veranda bietet ausreichend Platz, sodass man dort bequem mit 12 Personen gemeinsam essen kann. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war Ă€ußerst angenehm – sie reagierte stets schnell und hilfsbereit auf alle Anliegen.Die Ausstattung des Hauses entspricht zwar nicht dem neuesten Standard, doch die spektakulĂ€re Lage macht das mehr als wett. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage – bei Außentemperaturen um die 34 Grad wurde es auch im Inneren des Hauses recht warm.Alles in allem war es ein wundervoller Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Gorgeous lakeside property

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Angela. We were 12 adults and a baby and all comfortably fit, with more than enough space. The garden is stunning, with lake access. The kayaks were an added bonus for morning strolls. The host, Irene, was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. The house itself has so much character and charm. This is one of the most gorgeous properties we have ever stayed at and the town of SalĂČ is just a 15 minute walk away or a quick bus ride. I HIGHLY recommend you enjoy your Italian vacation at Villa Angela, I guarantee you will love it as much as we did!

Perfect location

Incredible location right on the lake and easy walk into Salo. A beautiful town with magnificent promenade and shop lined narrow streets. The villa is dated and in need of repair, however it does add to the charm of the place. We loved our stay and being a group of friends together was magical.

Excellent property & brilliant host!

The property is rusticly beautiful and the location is excellent being right on the lake. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak & ring to splash about on the water. Although the kitchen is dmall, it is very well equipped. The three toilets & showers were clean & modern. The beds large, comfortable and rooms are spacious. We had 9 adults and often lost each other being spread over multiple areas The host, Irene, was amazing and very, very helpful.

Traumhafte Lage am See

Ein wunderbares Haus, um mit der Familie seinen Urlaub zu verbringen. Wir waren 11 Personen und ein Kleinkind. Wir hatten jeder ein eigenes Zimmer. Das traumhafte war, dass wir gemeinsam den Garten genutzt haben. Ball Spiele relaxen Kajak fahren Lesen. Das Haus ist eine wunderschöne italienische Villa, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Es gibt drei BĂ€der, aber man kann nur eine Dusche wirklich nutzten. Waschbecken und Toilletten funktionieren alle drei. FĂŒr uns als Familie war es ok, aber bei Freunden ist es zu wenig. Auch ist die KĂŒche sehr klein, was ja frĂŒher so ĂŒblich war, wir kochen immer sehr gerne zusammen, das war aber eine Herausforderung. Wir wĂŒrden wieder kommen. Im Sommer, wenn man immer draußen sein kann ist es ein Traum

A perfect 10 days

From the moment we booked and arrived, Irene couldn't have even more helpful and made us feel very welcome. Having the lake as your pool was incredible, and suited us all, especially with the paddleboards. The beds were all really comfortable, which made for great nights sleep. Lastly, Salo is beautiful and only a 12 min walk away, expecially if you aren't having a BBQ, and you want a meal out. There are also some lovely shops. We easily used public transport to get to both Verona and Venice, and we can highly recommend going to Sirmione. We will be back. Ciao😁 x

Problems at the house

One of the three bathrooms was not fully funcational. We experienced ants in the kitchen and in bedrooms. Door fell off one of the closets in the bedroom. Grounds were constantly being worked on during our stay - this should have been completed before our arrival. Wi-Fi constantly dropped connection. Host was very responsive in the beginning but not during the whole stay

Romantische Erholung

I have just spent a week at Villa Angela with three generations of my family. The property has a rustic look and feel, well appointed and has lakeside access that enabled safe swimming directly from garden. It was a 15 min walk into town and approx 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. It has very spacious bed rooms and was ideal for our party of two couples and two single adults. Although it certainly could accommodate more. Irene is an excellent host, communicating well in advance of our visit and, if required during our stay. We arrived quite slightly earlier than the check in time but Irene made every effort to have the property available as soon as we arrived. The only downside, was this property is located on quite a busy road so not so good for those who are sensitive to traffic noise. Saying that, as Villa Angela has been in Irene’s family for four generations I suspect the house was there before the road was and the proximity to the lake and fantastic views certainly outweighs the road noise.

Lage perfekt, dennoch viel Luft nach oben

Unsere Gastgeberin war sehr nett, und die SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe und die Kommunikation vor Ort war sehr gut. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Aber es ist nicht in Ordnung, wenn man am Tag der Ankunft erfĂ€hrt, dass es zwar 3 BĂ€der gibt, aber in dem einen weder das Duschen noch das Baden möglich ist. Die WasserhĂ€hne der eingebauten Badewanne waren abmontiert. Der Schaden soll wohl demnĂ€chst behoben werden. So etwas muss im Vorfeld kommuniziert werden. Wir waren 11 Personen und haben deshalb bewusst nach einer Unterkunft mit 3 BĂ€dern gesucht. Dadurch, dass jetzt nur 2 Duschmöglichkeiten gab, war der Aufenthalt etwas kompliziert. Dass man zu dem einen Bad nur ĂŒber die Außentreppe kam, war zwar etwas nervig, aber durchaus handlebar. Was sehr gestört hat: Die TĂŒren der einzelnen Zimmer ließen sich nicht schließen. Man konnte sie quasi nur anlehnen und jeder, der vorbei lief, konnte ins Zimmer schauen. Das war unangenehm, weil dadurch innerhalb der Zimmer nicht wirklich eine PrivatsphĂ€re möglich war. Die Terrassen-Loungemöbel, die auf den Bildern zu sehen sind, waren leider nicht vorhanden. Das war schade. Das GrundstĂŒck und die Lage selbst sind ein Traum. Die große Treppe fĂŒhrt auf eine große RasenflĂ€che und zu einem schönen Sitzplatz direkt am See. Man hat auch einen privaten Zugang zum See, herrlich. Es hat allerdings gestört, dass unsere Gastgeberin und noch eine Frau öfter im Garten und/oder auf der Terrasse auftauchten. Dadurch fĂŒhlten wir uns beobachtet. Wir waren davon ausgegangen, dass wir ein ganzes Haus mit Garten mieten, das in der von uns gebuchten Zeit auch NUR UNS ALLEINE zur VerfĂŒgung steht. Aber so etwas muss man wohl vorher erst abklĂ€ren.

Fantastic Stay with two families

We were a group of two families and had a wonderful week at Villa Angela. Irene is a very warm-hearted and helpful host. The location of the house is incomparable - to open the door of the garden and hop into the lake gave us the opportunity to leave our cars almost untouched. Only one thing to improve is the equipment of the kitchen - we needed larger pots to feed our little hoard of hungry teenagers :-). Thanks Irene! Hope to see you again soon!

Tolle Lage direkt am See

Tolles großes Haus fĂŒr Freunde oder große Familie ideal. Ein angegebenes Badzimmer befindet sich nicht direkt mit im Haus sondern ist nur von außen zu erreichen. Wir wĂŒrden es auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen und können es nur empfehlen.

Eine perfekte Woche

Wir haben mit 3 Generationen ( 9 Personen) eine wundervolle Woche in der Villa Angela verbracht. Die Lage ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön und wir haben das Anwesen nur fĂŒr SpaziergĂ€nge nach Salo verlassen. Die großzĂŒgigen Zimmer - alle mit herrlichem Ausblick , die Terrasse mit großem Esstisch und Grill und der weitlĂ€ufige Garten mit Seezugang - alles war perfekt und fĂŒhrte dazu, dass wir uns alle unglaublich wohl gefĂŒhlt haben. WĂ€hrend der kompletten Woche war Irene fĂŒr uns jederzeit erreichbar. Übernahme und Übergabe waren völlig problemlos. Ein großes Dankeschön an Irene.

Wundervoller Familienurlaub in einer exzellenten Villa

Sagenhafte Villa mit riesigem GrundstĂŒck und eigenem Seezugang. Wo hat man das sonst am Gardasee. Hinzu kamen die perfekte Sauberkeit, die Freundlichkeit und Gelassenheit der Vermieterin Irene und die Enkelkinder haben sich besonders ĂŒber die fast unĂŒbersehbar vielen Kinderspielsachen inkl. einer riesigen aufblasbaren Insel gefreut. Ein rundum gelungener Familien-Urlaub!

Wonderfully located at the lake front, at 800m from Salo centre only. House with lots of character and stunning lake view from terraces and garden. The adjacent SS45bis may be a bit noisy, but is not really disturbing, on the contrary, it allows you to move around quickly (traffic permitted). The kitchen is rather smallish, but is guarantee for pleasant bustle. Comfortable bedrooms equipped with fans. Welcoming and helpful landlady.
