The level of personal service from the owner himself was amazing! Breakfast served in my room every morning! The views were spectacular of the sunset over the Sicilian countryside and vinyard.

Beautifully property on the outskirts of Sambuca. The gardens and grounds were perfectly maintained. The pool was amazing. The courtyard looked like it was from a movie set. It was so charming. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! We had dinner there twice and I could eat there one or twice a week for the rest of my life. The food and service were excellent. The staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. I enjoyed this hotel immensely. I will visit again. My husband and friends all felt the same. Bravo!!!

Beautiful view, nicely decorated. Great deck for viewing. Cute breakfast area nice courtyard. I loved that there were bikes to ride through the vineyard and the swimming pool. One of our favorite stays in Sicily.

En gammel vin-olivengÄrd ombygget til hotel(?). Flott beliggenhet pÄ en Äskam med nydelige omgivelser. Vinstokker og oliventrÊr sÄ langt Þyet rakk. Hotellet hadde ikke oppvarming annet enn pÄ rommene, slik at det var iskaldt nÄ i februar. Vi mÄtte spise frokost med ytterklÊr pÄ. Det var varmt vann i springen to dager av fem. Sengen var hard. Frokosten var ok, hverken mer eller mindre. Restauranten var stengt. Personalet snakket engelsk med noen unntak. Vi vil ikke anbefale hotellet utenom sommertid.

Picturesque location

Beautiful hotel located in hills of Sicily . The rooms are very nice, clean and each uniquely decorated. Can't beat the view. Breakfast on a terrace overlooking the pool with a view of the vineyards- breathtaking !

Hotel don giovanni, located outside sambuca di sicilia, surrounded by vinyards and farms. The restaurant has excellent food at a reasonable price. We had dinner on the restaurant balcony during sunset over the vineyards. It was so beautiful. The hotel staff speaks only very limited english. Overall a very good hotel with a relaxing atmosphere.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön gelegen. Ein Auto zur Erkundung der Umgebung ist aber erforderlich, wenn man nicht 8 km nach Sambuca Di Sicilia laufen will. Der Ort ist sehr schön und bietet dem kulturinteressierten Besucher viel. Wer Lust hat, sollte den Besuch des Theaters nicht verpassen. Ansonsten Kirchen ĂŒber Kirchen, die sehenswert sind. Auch das Museum ist zu empfehlen. Vom Belvedere hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick ĂŒber die Landschaft. Wer Lust und Laune hat, kann in den Weinbergen kilometerweit wandern und einige Cantina besuchen und den vorzĂŒglichen Wein probieren. Außerhalb der Saison ist Ruhe garantiert. Sehr schön ist die Gestaltung des Spielplatzes fĂŒr Kinder und die Poolbecken (mit einem Nichtschwimmerbecken).

VÀldigt mysigt hotell i inlandet pÄ centrala Sicilien. Vi var pÄ genomresa och hade endast en natt dÀr. Kom fram sent, men fick ÀndÄ en fantastisk mÄltid pÄ kvÀllen med tillhörande vin. VÀldigt familjÀrt och gemytligt. Hotellet kÀnns i allmÀnhet som en mindre vingÄrd, och har ett mycket frÀscht poolomrÄde. Vi var mycket nöjda! NÀstan ingen pÄ hotellet pratar ett ord engelska, vilket kan vara bra att kÀnna till pÄ förhand.

Most gracious and helpful hosts!

A lovely spot, nestled amongst olive trees and grapevines. Giorgio, and his parents were unbelievably gracious hosts and helps is in every way possible as we tried to locate relatives and birth records from my companion's grandfather's family. We had a most delightful experience, excellent food, and so much warmth, it could only happen in Italy. The rooms are simple and lovely, well equipt and we would go back there anytime! Many thanks to the proprietors for a wonderful experience.

Trevligt hotell i lantlig miljö

Hotellet ligger pĂ„ en kulle omgiven av vinodlingar och olivlundar nĂ„gon km utanför Sambuca de Sicilia. Hotellet drivs av familjen Maggio. Pappa Giovanni har överlĂ€mnat management till sonen Giorgio, men finns kvar som inventarie. Även mamma Maggio deltar i hotelldriften och Ă€r den som möter en vid frukostbordet. Talar bara italienska men Ă€r vĂ€ldigt trevlig och tillmötesgĂ„ende. Vi hade bokat rum med halvpension. DĂ€r hade hotellet en nĂ„got underlig tolkning av begreppet. Vi fick ingen hel middag utan fick vĂ€lja 2 av 4, antipasto, primo, segundo eller coturni. God mat var det dock, men inte vĂ€rt priset vi fick betala i tillĂ€gg.

Pulito e ben strutturato, con una bella piscina...L'hotel, in aperta campagna Ăš solo forse un pĂČ troppo a conduzione familiare...ci si sente quasi di invadere lo spazio della famiglia dello "zio Giovanni" con i nipoti che fanno i tuffi insieme agli ospiti e altri che scorazzano per l'albergo...il soggiorno perĂČ Ăš piacevolissimo
