We stayed as 2 adults in the Reserve area for 5 nights in February. It’s a beautiful hotel, the staff are super friendly and very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very clean and our room was cleaned, mini bar topped up etc daily.
The Reserve lounge is nice, with snacks and drinks laid out daily. The pool in this area is lovely but sunbeds weren’t always available. The staff here offered you drinks, ice creams and fruit as you sun bathed with was nice.
We had lunch daily at The Shack, they were very efficient, even when busy and the food was always good.
We ate in the Italian one night and the food was delicious.
The biggest negative for us was the buffet restaurant. The food wasn’t hot and often stations were empty. I had fish cooked at the cooking station 4 nights. The first night it was cold, the next 2 nights the tuna and then the salmon was very rare inside after I’d asked it to be well done. The last night the fish I ordered just never came out. There was only one chef who had to take the orders and also cook them so I felt it wasn’t really his fault.
We ate breakfast at the Reserve, the buffet was lovely and there was a nice Al a Carte to order eggs etc. We had the poached egg and full English each day. It was lovely but unfortunately also cold. Their heat lamps just don’t seem low/strong enough.
Overall we absolutely loved the hotel and it’s position offering great walks along the promenade towards Maspalomas, it’s just a shame the main restaurant let them down.
