Felt like home

Feels like a home away from home. All the amenities we needed and then some, the condo was fully stocked with the essentials and a quick shop at the market down the street had us set up like back in Canada. The pool at the club house has a great bar and food, gym is huge and the staff were amazing. Palmilla is a very upscale neighbourhood and very safe with excellent access to both San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. A rental vehicle is a must but getting around is super easy. Our host Johel was just a text away with any questions we had and the whole check in and check out process was very smooth.

Perfect relaxing getaway for our family of 4

Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Palmilla Dunes. I am an extremely particular and picky traveler and this place checked all the boxes which is why we'll be back. From the little things like having pre packed beach bags in all our rooms, great amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, etc. we loved it. It was the best of both worlds in being near the One & Only Palmilla for dining and on the Palmilla compounds with security. Our kids enjoyed the clubhouse with pool and tennis courts daily and their gym facilities were clean and not crowded. Our check-in process was smooth and Johel and his team answered all of our questions pre check-in promptly. We will definitely be back!

Property manager got things fixed (e.g., the A/C for the master BR d/n/work night 1. Had to sleep on couch.) Property is 2 minutes from golf clubhouse, 4 minutes from public beach / One & Only Palmilla, walking distance to coffee shop & restaurants, gym, pool, tennis/pickleball/padel. Loved the roof deck though a hot tub w/h/made it even better. Spacious. Great BR's, kitchen. Golf cart worked fine. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Condo wasn’t ready for guests

The condo is nice. Well-appointed. The check in process was a MESS. The property was not ready and the check in person left us sitting at a local restaurant well beyond the 4pm check in time. In fact, so long that VRBO offered to cancel our reservation and pay for us to get a hotel. When we finally got in, it was clear they had not yet cleaned from the construction. Dust was everywhere. They moved us to another unit. That one, unfortunately, did not have hot water in the master shower. They were quick to respond, but it took several visits. In short, the first few days were chaotic, as the staff was clearly not ready for guests, but by the third day, all was fine. There was a lot of construction in the neighborhood, but the unit was very quiet.

Great golf vacation

Palmilla Dunes is a perfect spot to stay for your golf vacation. Yo are located within an easy drive or cab ride to several great golf courses and for the non- golfers there is a beautiful pool, workout facility and tennis courts.
