Overall, hotel was pretty nice but with some caveats. Upon arrival, the door man tried insisting that I looked like I was at the wrong hotel. He kept saying I looked like I was trying to go to the Hilton Garden Inn. Not a great first impression. Other than that, breakfast was nice, room was nice and I had a suite which had two bathrooms which is something I think more hotels should do. Late Saturday night , I received a call to my room threatening to charge me $150 for an extra guest. That extra guest was my wife! Seriously unbelievable. The staff the next morning did apologize but I have never had something like this happen before. Lastly, the parking situation is a bit of a mess if you have your own car - getting in and out is a bit of a disaster that could be heavily improved but not the end of the world. I'm not sure I would come back or not based on the two negative interactions I had because the rest of the hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful thoroughout the hotel.

The hotel has an incredible view and the 18th floor is wonderful. The pool and gym deck were nice although it would have been great for the hot tub to work as well.

Enjoyed My Stay!

The hotel is updated and modern. Centrally located to a lot of places in the city. The Costa Rican breakfast buffet was amazing each morning. The rooms are updated and modern. Room service was mediocre, try other places outside of the hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful and even assisted with booking my in-room massage. I wish they had a hot tub. Overall, great stay!

Beautiful rooms and view. Restaurant food was mediocre and overpriced. The view did makeup for that. Staff in the restaurant and on the first floor were excellent. The reception left a lot to be desired (expressed concern about blinking red light on what I’m guessing was fire and carbon monoxide alarm, they said they would send someone up. They never did. About 45 min after I went to show the front staff the video as it also made a clicking noise that made it difficult for me to stay asleep).
