This hotel was in a great location, and we had a very nice large room and an excellent large buffet breakfast. The hotel and our room actually looked better in person than the photos we saw on the website. Given the location and the quality of the hotel and the room and breakfast, the price was not expensive. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great for one night
Really elegant city hotel in the middle of San Jose. Walking distance to the National Museum. Shout out to Daniel at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful in getting us to and from the airport. Note: the airport transfer is not free, it is $45 each way. We were unaware of this and might have chosen a different hotel if we had known. There is no gym or pool, as you might expect from a city hotel. This was fine with us as we were just stopping for one night in transition.

Disappointed, mediocre stay
We didn’t enjoy our stay. The lobby and the employees were nice. However the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. Also the bathroom was outdated, the faucet sprayed all over and the closet was missing a door. We expected more from the hotel and wish we would have stayed somewhere else.
