Think twice before reserving this hotel. Unfortunately I was not aware of the 250.00 hold fee( a bit high) for what we received. First of all, I wanted some ice, normally one would walk to the ice machine and fill up, to my surprise you're charged for ice as well as coffee if you wanted any. We had to drive to the Burger King for a cup of fresh coffee instead of using a machine with what I assume stale coffee. I wanted to make the best of this stay and decided to go to the pool, when I looked at it, it was filled with what looked like green and brown grime on the steps entering the pool, completely changed my mind in entering. It was disgusting to say the least, I did go and inform the front desk which went on deaf ears. Be aware this hotel is not central to anything, you will have to travel to the nearby Beach towns for shopping and restaurants . I have begun to travel to PR frequently and I will definitely not return to this hotel. I believe Expedia, was not as accurate in their review of this hotel, leading it's customers completely unprepared and disappointed to say the least

Do not book through Expedia. I payed for everything through Expedia then when we arrived we had to put $400 down on the car we already rented and paid for. Got to the hotel and had to put $250 deposit down on the room that was already paid for and an additional $45 dollars for extra taxes. They gave us a room with one double bed when it was suppose to be 2 beds. We even called direct to the hotel before booking it to confirm it was 2 beds and the woman told us yes. That they don't have rooms with one double bed. That their rooms are either two queens or one king. The woman told us that third party booking sites don't always have correct information. When we told them what their receptionist told us we were told that if we want two beds we could pay an additional $400. Even though the hotel was a ghost town. There was no one there! All of the restaurants and the bar were closed the entire time we were there except for the last night before we left. We went to a restaurant on the property for dinner which only stayed open until 7pm. Also no breakfast or coffee to be found anywhere at the hotel. We had to go off the resort to find a cup of coffee. Now I'm waiting to see if we get our $400-car and $250-hotel back from our deposits. We will not use Expedia again. Sadly this was not a good experience. The hotel was pretty and clean but not at all the resort experience we expected.

The rooms and property were clean and well kept. The swimming pool was very nice and clean.

THE STAFF WAS OVER THE TOP!! UPON ARRIVAL, THE SECURITY GUARD/OFFICE STAFF/MAINENANCE & ESPECIALLY THE BARTENDER TOOK CARE OF US, CARED FOR US BEYOND ANYTHING WE COULD HAVE EXPECTED. YES, THIS IS OUR 4TH TIME VISITING FAJARDO INN. OUR ROOM WAS WHAT WE ASKED FOR. USUALLY, THE STAFF IS SO "MICRO MANAGED", BUT THE GUARD WAS LIKE HE WAS OUR NEPHEW, THE STAFF: LIKE MY DAUGHTERS & THE BARTENDER: TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF MY WIFE & I! THIS VISIT WAS A GIFT FOR MY WIFE FOR MOTHER'S DAY & 1ST TRIP AFTER REMISSION FROM BREAST CANCER! IT WAS LAST MINUTE & ONLY 1 DAY, BUT STILL IMPRESSIVE BY ALL! WITH GOD'S HELP WE CONTINUE PATRONAGE @ FAJARDO INN! SO WILL OUR ENTIRE FAMILY & FRIENDS! HOOOOAH!!

Property was alright. Spacious and clean rooms. There were many mosquitoes in the room and bathroom. Got bitten badly. Easy parking. Laundry was ok. Only one washer working. Please think twice before going to the on-site Mexican restaurant. The server did a good job but the food that came out of the kitchen was horrible. We voiced our concern to the manager. Unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. I wish they take feedbacks and improve the food quality so that more guests can dine there.

Thank you for sharing your opinion about out property, but if you are going to share a review, you should tell the entire story. The waiter went to you table several times asking if everything food and everything was ok, which you said it was. After everyone ate their food, and you recieved the receipt you informed you were not going to pay for the full bill since you didnt't like the food. The manager on duty spoke to you severla times, that if when the waiter went to your table you have mentioned anything we gladly would have prepare a new dish for you or discounted the food in dispute. But it was very surprising to every employee on suty that after you ate all the food you refuse to pay the bill. Yes because you left without paying, you left a 320 bill after you devour all the food. And when the manager informed you she was calling the police, you ran as fast as you could and left the property. We filed a police report and you will be contacted. I assure you we do take very serious comments and reccomendations, but when someone abuses us we do not take it lightly.

Really, over $200 a night and you had to pay for ice and coffee with quarters!! Coffee should be in the room.

Not as good as advertised

We were disappointed with this place. It could have/should have been more. There were some obvious limitations due to COVID, which were understandable, but there were other things that were uncalled for. They charged for ice from the ice machine, they charged for a lousy morning coffee... things that I've never had a hotel charge for!
