"Our stay was fine to good. Perhaps perfectly acceptable for a three-star resort. The line for check in and check out was long and slow. There were mostly locals there, if that's the vibe you're looking for. The entrance to the resort is a long and bumpy ten minute drive, so lesving the resort was kind of annoying. However, the ice cream place and grocery store on-site were very convenient. Most things/amenities cost extra (mini golf and boogie boards) and the food was average. Staff was courteous and responsive, but didn't cater to tourists in terms of recommendations. The 2-bedroom apartment had outdated bathrooms and the kitchen was a bit under-stocked for six people. The beach is private but not nearly as pictureswue and clean as neighboring beaches. The pools were okay but a little loud at times with music and there weren't enough lounge chairs available. It was perfect fine for a 3-star resort. "

"The pools were filthy, on the border they had a layer of something greasy. The room was “premium” it had an exclusive pool. the shower didn’t worked properly. No AC control. There were bedbugs. The balcony was nice The food in general was bad, in some cases disgusting… when I asked for some ingredients for allergy they didn’t know and didn’t bother to follow back. The kids animation was good"

"Spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a tasty breakfast, with nice surroundings where macaws and other birds are often visible. Families should note that room doors aren’t toddler-proof and balconies could be unsafe for small children. Playa Mantas is nearby (parking can be tricky and costly). Playa Blanca requires additional fee and isn’t accessible through the hotel"

"We didn't have time for the breakfast, but the front desk staff was not at all helpful when we asked for a shuttle to the airport late in the evening so we could return our rental car. There was a giant cockroach in the bathroom, the vanity was falling apart, and there was mold/ dirt on the bathroom ceiling. "

"Unique, artistic decor. Large connecting rooms perfect for family. Super secure oasis. Note that there may not be a tv in your room, but I found that refreshing."

"The room and facilities were clean, my only complaint would be the area itself, out of control of the hotel. There was someone sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when we arrived and there really isn’t much to offer in the area. We only stopped for the night to catch the ferry the next day and thought that there would be more to see. "
