Bee and Gary are a delight. I have stayed there 3 different times and always check for availability there before making travel plans to Santa Fe. The casita is spotless, with mountain views, very accessible to Old Santa Fe and museums. Fresh air, peaceful and comfortable.

My husband and I needed to get away from it all and Santa Fe did not disappoint. Our first time to stay in SF and Gary’s & Bee’s Guest House was the perfect spot for us. We met both of them during our stay, both expressing that we could contact them for any needs we had (we didn’t have any). You walk by their house to get to the guest house, but still have all the privacy you need. The house was perfect, just as described. We didn’t cook there, but in looking around, it appears you would have all you need for light cooking. The TV is a bit small, but is adequate for a little downtime in the evening if you have streaming accounts (which we do). The bed is comfortable, albeit fairly low to the ground. The house is clean and inviting with a pretty perennial garden lining the entry walk. It felt like coming home every time we returned. Being a little outside of the city proper, you can’t really walk anywhere, but everything you want to see or do, including grocery stores, are just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Contemporary Guest House and might just stay there again ourselves!

Gary, the property owner, was so nice and very welcoming. The casita was perfect and very nice. We felt safe in the lovely neighborhood! I would definitely stay again and recommend this property if you are traveling to Santa Fe. Perfect location and very quiet and peaceful.

Worthy of Ten Stars!!

The was the best of the dozens of short-term rentals I have had. The casita is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. Radiant heat in the floors, unlimited hot water, great lighting, including in the kitchen (unusual for a rental), high quality utensils, etc. Along with the other, usual factors, these things account for the first five stars. The other five are for the hosts, Gary and Bee. I became ill during my stay, and I found them among the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met, even though I was a complete stranger. They went out of their way to check up on me, offer and provide help, and adjust the booking on the fly when I was too weak to travel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Well located, peace and quiet

The location of this property is just perfect. Near old Santa Fe as well as Museum Hill, getting anywhere I wanted to go was easy. The property is quiet, with nice views of the surrounding area. Gary and Bee respected my need to have some quiet time to write and get away from the rat race. Very responsive and helpful with everything. This was my second time staying at the property, and I hope to come back again before too long.

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. Gary and Bee are welcoming hosts and the location was perfect for accessing Santa Fe and enjoying a quiet rest. Santa Fe is beautiful, the people are so friendly, great golf, food, margaritas and of course shopping. The city is so clean! Highly recommend a getaway to Santa Fe including the Guest House.
