Relaxing single-family house on a 2-acre land between Houston and Galveston

A spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family house on a serene 2-acre land super close to major highways for an easy commute to shopping and restaurants. The 2+ acre property fronts FM 646 and is only 3 miles to I-45. The house is tucked away from the highway frontage and located behind trees, with roughly 1-acre green space in the front and 1 acre in the back. Staying here, you will escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet within 30-minutes away from all the attractions Houston-Galveston have to offer: NASA Space center, Kemah, Galveston beaches, Tanger Outlets, Baybrook Mall. A home away from home!

The house is a one-level, split plan with the master bedroom with ensuite full bath on one side of the house and two guest bedrooms on the other site. The middle of the house is a large living room opens to the spacious kitchen and dining area. A hallway full bathroom separates the two guest bedrooms, offering convenience and privacy. The master bedroom has a king bed, the front guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the back guest bedroom has a full bed and a single bed, suitable for kiddos to share. The house sleeps 7 comfortably and is suitable to share between extended families and friends. House has a covered back patio with serene view of trees and green spaces. House has a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer for guests’ use.

Our nightly price depends on the number of guests, children included. Additional guest fee applies for guest #5 and above till the maximum occupancy. Please indicate the exact number of guests at booking and the quote will reflect that. If you increase the number of guests after your reservation is made, additional guest fee may apply if the number of guests exceed 4.

We allow only house-trained pets with a $100 fee per pet per stay. Maximum four (4) pets allowed on premises. The booking platform charges $100 if you indicate pet at booking and that covers one pet only. If you have more than one pets approved by the owners, you will receive separate payment request to collect the pet fee for additional pets. Clean after your pets or additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Early check in or late check out are only possible when house has no other booking on the same day and are subject to additional fee.

Note guests do not have access to the garage or the backyard barn. These are exclusively used by the owners and not included in the rental.

Property has security cameras in the front yard and back yard. No security cameras inside the house.

House rules to note before booking:
(1) No party or any event is allowed. Violation will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
(2) The property’s maximum occupancy is 9 people (adults and children combined). This limit applies to all visitors present on property, not limited to overnight guests. Violation will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
(3) No smoking inside the house. Violation will be fined by $500 and result in eviction with no refund.
(4) House trained pets are allowed AFTER obtaining owner’s prior approval and pet fee paid before checking in. Pet fee is $100 per pet per stay. The booking platform charges only $100 if you indicate pet at booking and that covers one pet. If you have more than one pets approved by the owners, you will receive separate payment request to collect pet fees for additional pets.
(5) No loud music after 9PM each day. Do not trespass neighbor’s property.

This is a nice single family home. It is convenient to shopping and any needs that city folk would have. I enjoyed staying here. We had a little mix up when we first arrived with a lock code, but I was able to get in contact with the host even as late as we arrived and was able to get in. Thank you for letting us use your property.

Spacious!

We stayed at this property for one week & everything was just as described. It was easy to access & they allowed me to bring my fur babies, wand there was plenty of space for walks around the property with them! Quick access to restaurants, activities, & the ballpark, where our son was playing in a tournament. Would stay here again if in the area!

Wedding weekend stay

We celebrated our sons wedding, and the location to the venue was perfect. The home is very inviting. Open living space and great sized bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. The home fit our needs perfectly. The hostess was great. Excellent communication. We are so happy we found this hidden gem.

Perfect quiet stay

House is perfect with all the kitchen amenities ( air fryer!) .. living room and TV is plenty of space for a large group or just 2 ! This is our go to place when in town !!

Nice House

We stayed for 1 night. It is a little difficult finding the house from the road especially at night. Make sure you are looking for the black mail box with the address numbers. There are about 3 different drive ways you could accidentally pull into. Maybe a sign or tall statue would be very helpful in recognizing which driveway to turn into. You have to come to a complete stop on a main road as well to turn into the driveway. Make sure to slow down long before you get there. The road name is also confusing and delivery services and google maps will get confused about the different names. Besides that, there was a big wasp nest at the front of the home when you walk in by the front door. I notified the owner to have it removed. We were charged for every guest we had over 4 people but they refunded the 2 guests that never stayed, so that was nice. Do not book this house unless you are willing to pay for every guest over 4 people, even if they are just visiting. Take your time researching places. It did sleep everyone comfortably however. 3 bedrooms and living is very spacious. Kitchen is spacious as well and if you bring everything, you can make some nice meals.

Great spot to stay with very accommodating host!

Peggy was incredibly accommodating leading up to our stay, getting us an iron so we could iron our clothes before we arrived for a wedding that was local! Home was clean and very comfortable for us all, would happily stay again!

Great place for our family to stay!

We stayed at this property when we were in Santa Fe for a wedding and party. It was a great location - close to the two locations we were visiting. It had a nice size family room.
