Views breathtaking, house not so much
We stayed there for new years. And the owner had left a bottle of some bubbly for us, thank you for that. The property is located in a gated community on a pretty quiet street. To get to the beach it’s a little walk down some steep roads, our grandma 76 did it but it wasn’t easy. There’s a/c and heat in only 2 bedrooms upstairs. The other 2 have none and size wise they look more like a small walking closet than a bedroom. Downstairs is a heater where you need to load pallets every so often to warm up the house. The owner informed us that each extra bag of pallets would be 15 eur but we were able to just buy them in a grocery store quite a bit cheaper. The furniture is very, very old and just covered with sheets/blankets. All, except one mattress were so old the springs dig into your back. There’s NO parking….just in the street on a steep hill. When you pay cleaning fee, kitchen is excluded and you need to clean it yourself. They have worlds smallest washing machine in the kitchen there, fits some shirts, underwear, socks ..that’s about it. No dryer. Another big thing, upon arrival we were told not to throw toilet paper in the toilet. It has to go in trash! The view compensated for a lot and made the stay so much better, but we would not stay there again. The house needs a very serious cleaning…all the tile grout is overgrown with moldy stuff in the bathrooms.
