Cozy 4th Floor 2 BR/2 BA Condo in Gulf Place. Awesome view. Netflix included.

This fourth-floor 2 BR/2 BA condo has an awesome view of the Gulf from its balcony. Free Netflix. Pickleball courts on property. Heated pool and spa.

Our building underwent significant improvements in the past year. The stairways have been renewed, the balconies refurbished and the elevator modernized. Gulf Place Caribbean remains the crown jewel of Gulf Place.

Gulf Place itself has been significantly upgraded. Still, it has the same Gulf Place vibe and numerous amenities have been added all within walking distance. The tennis court has been resurfaced and three Pickleball courts have been added.

Several restaurants are on property, most notably Renaissance, a cozy French-themed bistro with exceptional menu choices.

Rates have not changed from last year and now is the time to book for spring and summer of 2025.



For the interior of the unit we did a major overhaul in 2019, but now we are continuing to renew and refurbish the unit. We replaced the sofa and replaced the love seat with two comfortable armchairs. New dining room chairs were added and we replaced the aging balcony set with two poly wood, bar-height Adirondack chairs. A little paint here, a new lamp there but it's the same welcoming environment with the spectacular view of the Gulf that only units on the top floor have.

Also, an LG 50" flat screen smart TV and Blu-Ray player offer access to the major streaming video services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube and others. Updated colors throughout and many other updates and conveniences. We are constantly looking for ways to add value.

We accept credit cards, (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) as well as e-Checks through Vrbo, a secure website.

As our only rental property, our only additional charge is a modest cleaning fee, one of the lowest in the building. ***

We have a security deposit that is usually returned as soon as the cleaning team clears the unit.

Enjoy panoramic Gulf views from our lovely two-bedroom, two-bath fourth (top) floor condo. The condo's private balcony and two sets of French doors overlook the private lake and the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful emerald green waters and sugar-white sandy beaches are just across the street. This popular vacation condo is in the heart of quaint but vibrant Gulf Place Community and is one of the most popular condos on the Beaches of South Walton's prestigious Scenic 30-A.

OUR CONDO:
Sleeping accommodations include a king bed in master with private bath, a king bed in the second bedroom and bunk bunks recessed into the hallway. We have recently installed luxurious, hotel-quality pillow top mattresses in both bedrooms. Also available is a 'Pack-n-Play' for an infant as well as a booster chair and child's step stool. The complex features a convenient elevator, charcoal grills, and three pools (two heated) with sundeck & jacuzzi, tennis courts, shuffleboard and corn-hole . Our condo also has FREE WI-FI from a dedicated cable modem. The building also has luggage carts to help guests move-in and move-out.

THE AREA:
If you are a fan of Google Maps, see the link above. If you like Google Earth, enter 30 degrees, 20' 54.22' N and 36 degrees, 13' 56.85' W. You will be able to see Gulf Place's 3 pools, 2 tennis courts, the croquet pitch and amphitheater.

Two websites that are particularly nice are www.30a.com and www.sowal.com. Both have webcam links and a couple of the webcams are nearby.

Gulf Place is quiet and peaceful (no high rises, traffic or congestion) yet easily accessible to Destin and Panama City's many entertainment attractions such as Gulfarium, scuba diving, Big Kahuna water park, dolphin cruises, fishing, go-cart tracks, miniature golf, numerous restaurants and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall (the largest upscale outlet mall in the Southeast). Two new Publix Grocery stores have just opened nearby.

A GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILY VACATION, WEDDING PARTIES AND REUNIONS:
When you are not enjoying the quiet beaches, you may walk to local boutiques, restaurants and a coffee cafe. Bikes are available at a local bike shop. The Gulf Place Amphitheater offers family events and a large grassy area for kids to play. Additional amenities include: tennis, two cornhole courts, shuffleboard and nature trails for walking or jogging.

Challenging golf is available at Santa Rosa Country Club immediately adjacent to the Town Center. Come and enjoy a vacation that offers emerald green waters, sugar white beaches, the peacefulness of Gulf Place (30A) and the proximity to Destin, Seaside and Panama City attractions.

Gorgeous condo, Perfect location

We had a fantastic vacation week at this condo. When we arrived it was immaculate. The owner provided all the details needed for a wonderful stay. This condo is well equipped with everything you need. Very nice beach chairs and umbrellas, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful bathrooms. It is in the perfect location with a lot to do within walking distance. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We loved our recent stay at Anne & Steve's place! The condo was clean, well equipped, and the location was great. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance; we especially enjoyed The Perfect Pig and Shunk Gulley. I traveled with my parents, who usually like to stay directly on the beach, so I was worried about the view. But there was no need to be worried! the view of the gulf was amazing and both my parents did not stop raving about how much they loved the view and the location of this condo. We would definitely consider staying here again on future trips to 30A!

Perfect Week Away

Our family travels to Gulf Place every September. This was our 10th year traveling down with our 2 boys and we had another amazing trip! We love Gulf Place because of the close location to the water and the cozy atmosphere. Our condo was awesome! Steve was so easy to work with and stayed in touch with us beforehand and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The furniture looked new in the living room area, there was plenty of dining space and additional seating at the countertop. And of all the condos we have stayed at in the past, we thought this one had the best outdoor furniture of them all! A lounger, 4-seat table and 2 tall chairs that were wonderful to sit in each morning and drink our coffee! They had very nice beach chairs (lots), umbrellas, towels and some pool floats for use as well. The beds were very comfortable too! They really seem to go out of their way to make sure your vacation experience is unforgettable! We even found a binder they put together with pages of restaurant menus and other activities to do in the area. We usually try a different condo each year, but we decided this will be our go to unit from here on out! Looking forward to returning to "Lookout at the Beach" in September 2025!! feel

Great Stay!

We've stayed at Gulf Place Caribbean before, and this unit was much nicer than previous units. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms were renovated, beds were high quality and comfortable. They had extras like beach chairs, pool towels, etc. It's a short walk to the beach, which is really the selling point of this area - white sandy beaches are spectacular. We had a wonderful time!

We had a four night stay with my elderly parents who have stayed at Gulf place probably 20 times over the years. They are a tough crew and tend to complain, but really, no complaints by them during our stay. The view was wonderful and the condo had everything we needed.

"Lookout At The Beach" is a wonderful place to stay!

Our family just returned from a 5-night stay. This condo has everything you need to have a fun, comfortable and relaxing stay at the beach. The view is stellar. We spent every morning and afternoon eating breakfast and lunch on the balcony looking out toward the gulf and watching the turtles and fish in the pond below. The communication with the owner was exceptional. Their emails and text prior to, during and at our departure provided all of the information we needed to make our stay feel like home. We have been visiting Gulf Place Caribbean for almost 30 years and the location and beach access are the things that keep bringing us back. You can stay here and enjoy the local restaurants without having to travel every time you go out. If you just want to chill, hangout, and relax "Lookout At The Beach" is a wonderful way to do it!

This condo was in such a great location. We could walk to ice cream, pizza, coffee, seafood and a deli in 5 minutes. The heated pool and hot tub was awesome at night and the pool was a short walk across the street. Definitely would stay here again!

Great gulf view!

We enjoyed our adult weekend with friends and loved the view from this great location in Gulf Place on 30-A! We walked to dinner and breakfast, and were only a short drive to other great areas. It was an easy stroll to the beach. If there is any complaint, it seems to need a deep clean, and there were small sugar ants (little traps were placed around the unit). The sofa and loveseat cushions were very worn and dingy on the fronts. One of the king mattresses could be replaced (think hammock). But overall the unit was in a fabulous location, and generally clean. We should stay here again!

Family vacation

Great location and great condo. It was very clean but there were some ants in the kitchen. I used an ant trap on the counter and it got much better. The dryer did not work but that was at no fault of the owner. He communicated well with us and had a repair guy out quickly to look at it. It was irreparable. Bummer but didn’t ruin the trip! There’s so much to walk to around the condo and the beach access is perfect! We’d stay here again!
