Welcome to Pine Needle Beach House! Located in the quaint Highland Park subdivision on 30a in the Blue Mountain Beach area. This home is a short walk to the outstanding resort style heated community pool with water falls, ocean tower lookout, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor lounge area with big screen tv and grill space. Very short golf cart ride (1 mile) to the Blue Mountain Beach Access or the Gulfview Heights Beach Access.

The first floor features a master suite with large tile shower, double vanity, it's own washer/dryer and walk-in closet. The large gourmet kitchen has island with seating for 5 plus open dining area for 6 and living space to entertain your family and guests. Plenty of space for 8 guests between the 3 bedrooms. The second story has a queen guest bedroom leading into a jack-n-jill style bathroom with separate vanities and separate toliets with shared tiles tub/shower combo to share. The 3rd bedroom has bunks with a twin over a full and twin trundle for additional sleeping. In the hallway upstairs, you have an additional washer and dryer for all your clothing needs. We provide a 6 seater golf cart and 4 adult bikes for easy beach access and enjoying 30A. Come in from the sunny days by the pool or on the beach and take advantage of the outdoor shower and large front porch, perfect for taking in the gentle gulf breeze. Relax in the back yard on summer evenings under the garden lights.

Highland Park is a tranquil neighborhood along Highway 30A, surrounded by the State Forest with access to trails from the back of the neighborhood, within a one mile radius to 2 public beach accesses with restrooms, parking and lifeguards on duty during peak seasons. This area is the highest elevation point in South Walton County and right in the middle of local shops and eateries. A well paved bike path runs along the entire coastline of 30A providing quick and easy access to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Easy bike ride, walk or very short golf cart ride to Blue Mabel Restaurant, Cowgirl Kitchen, Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar & Grill, The Perfect Pig, Basmati's Asian Cuisine, Red Fish Taco, Mimmo's, Grace Pizza, Blue Mountain Bakery, and Blue Mountain Beach Creamery (best ice cream on 30A).

The 2 closest beach accesses are by Goatfeathers on 30A and by the Blue Mountain Creamery (30A's best ice cream!) right off beach access road. Blue Mountain beach access is only 3/4 mile from the home and lifeguards on duty daily from 10am-6pm!

Gorgeous home

Check in was super smooth and on time. The location was a quick golf cart ride to the beach and pool (provided). The home was super clean and great for two littles staying in one room with two pack n plays. Not enough cooking pans for our family to cook items at the same time but not a huge deal. Just bring a pan or two if you plan on cooking more than going out. We would stay here again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, great location, and liked the pool. We were also impressed with the neighborhood security. During our stay we did notice a few issues. The linens were clean but had stains, we found multiple spiders in the house, and the TV in the master bedroom did not work. We also felt the golf cart was old and run downed. It was rusty, the suspension was rough, and the seat belts were not working properly.

We had the absolute best summer staying at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing, extended stay. The home had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy beds and plenty of space to spread out.The location couldn’t have been better—just a short golf cart ride to the beach and close to great shops and restaurants, but still peaceful and private. The hosts were responsive and kind, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. We truly felt at home here, and we’re already dreaming about coming back next year. Highly recommend!

Best yet!

#1 Vrbo property that we’ve stayed in to date. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful house. Our first time to stay in Santa Rosa and won’t be our last. It was better than we expected. The golf cart provided us with a much easier way to get around. We were less than a 5 minute ride from the beach, restaurants, ice cream or coffee. Also loved the nearby pool facilities, and the bikes provided. The neighborhood is beautiful and we felt right at home. Our family would definitively stay here again.

Absolute Oasis!

We had the absolute best time! This was our first time staying in Santa Rosa. We usually stay in Destin, Sandestin, or Panama. We wanted more of a small-town feel, and this was perfect! Coming in peak season, I was worried about crowds on the beaches but quickly found that Gulfview Heights Beach Access was the best and was just a golf cart ride away. Blue Mountain Beach Access is very small, and I would not recommend setting up for a beach day there during peak season. We also could not spend much on food, and Walmart and Publix were just a short 10 minutes away for cooking in the house. The house was a dream, and the layout of the subdivision made you feel like you were surrounded by the woods, along with the trails that lead out to the state forest for walks. Also, the pool was absolutely amazing, and at peak season, it never ever felt crowded. We drove to Seacrest and Seaside one day, and I can tell you we were so happy we stayed in Santa Rosa. The crows there and traffic in peak season were unbearable. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was such a joy to stay here, and I hope we can stay here again one day.

The best week!

We have been to 30A countless times and were so happy with our accommodations this past week at Pine Needle Beach Cottage. Everything was great, but we especially loved the large living room, full-size washer and dryer in the main bedroom, outdoor shower, and access to the golf cart. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house for a family vacation!

Perfect vacation house for our family of 6! Jaclyn was great to work with and always responded quickly to any questions I had. We loved having the golf cart and the house was right down the street to the community pool. Also so close to the public beach accesses. We had a great trip and would stay here again!

Spring Break

Booked Pine Needle for spring break with my daughter and two friends. House was spotless, beds were very comfortable, and it had all the needed amenities. The golf cart and bikes were a huge benefit, the girls rode bikes everywhere and parking the golf cart at the beach access and restaurants was much easier than parking a car. I highly recommend Pine Needle and will look to stay here again.

Just like home!

We stayed at this property twice now and it’s been one of our favorite spots. The home is clean and the setup of the home is great. The golf cart and bikes make everything very accessible! The laundry room next to the master bedroom is also a big bonus. We would book this place anytime we plan to stay at BMB. Everything was perfect!

Summer Vaca

House is perfect. Close to everything. Golf cart took us everywhere we wanted to go . We had an issue with the AC and the host immediately sent someone over to resolve the problem. We would definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Beach Weekend

We LOVED our stay at Pine Needle Cottage! The home is just as pictured and the great room space is fantastic for hanging out as a group! Access to the golf cart really takes this stay over the top and made it so easy to get to the coffee shop, the beach, etc.. Would 1000% recommend to anyone!
