The hotel is 4 minutes from the airport. We waited one hour for the shuttle. Hilton Double Tree said the vans came every 15 to 30 minutes. The problem was their vans were full. I finally paid another hotel $5 to drop me off since he was driving right by the Hilton. The next day I walked back to the airport, easy walk. ALSO, make sure you put all the exact information on the phone number of the Hilton Double Tree on the reservation (not a national number) because there are two Hilton Double Tree hotels at SeaTac.

Check in was a nightmare one clerk for twenty people from a diverted flight at 1am. They would not accept my Expedia booking so I had to pay twice for my room. Also no security. A man from the street walked in and stole a potted plant from the lobby. The late night shift needs some upgrades.

The parking is a joke. They charge $33 per day and it’s not even valet. They use machines to get people in and out of the uncovered parking lot. The machines weren’t even working and would take 15 minutes to open the gate. Forget the “help” button because no one even answers, especially at night. I called the front desk from my phone and the phone just rang and rang. Someone came to “clean” my room and there wasn’t much cleaning going on. There was short black hair in the shower on the wall and I have long blonde hair. The staff never even cleaned it which leads me to believe they just don’t clean the showers. I was disgusted. I will never return.

After 14 hours travel we arrived to be put in a room that was as far as possible from the front desk. Did not receive an offer of help with the bags and did not receive our warm cookie. There was a water leak that had soaked the floor by the elevator, our room had slopped coffee down the wall by the door. And the bed cover had holes in it. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We do not know the Seattle area and booked via Expedia. I suspect that was the reason for our rooms location and perhaps the quality of the room given. We will not select this hotel again if travelling via Seattle.

Lack of staff rooms were nice in the 1970,'s. Packing a car is more expensive than the room
