I did not get the room I had booked and the room that I received was not even equivalent to what I booked a week ago. What a disappointment. Never booking with red lion again

Staff was nice and helpful. At first, room was missing a desk chair. A staff member found one quickly and carried it back to my room for me -- very nice! Issue: Hotel had NO LUGGAGE racks -- not because they were in use -- they had ZERO in any form -- They said they should have had at least 2-carts!. Both my wife and I are Senior-citizens and can NOT carry much and are disabled. WE do not have luggage with wheels. WE use large plastic storage boxes -- very heavy as we had changes of clothes with shoes for an evening event. We had to make several trips by moving a box a short distance, then stopping, then another short distance, etc If theft is a problem, SET-UP up some sort of security method I am NOT LIKELY to stay again unless I call first and verify luggage carts will be available, If carts are available, would consider staying again.

When I arrived at 3 I was told I wouldn't be allowed to check in due to their system being down. They wanted me to sit in the lobby for two hours with no type of compensation "because he would have to offer it to everyone". I would never return.

after a 5 hour drive to get to this hotel, we were told that they stopped taking credit cardss and that they would only take cash. I was told that there was an ATM in the back that we would use to get cash. I guess the new owners did not believe in credit cards? Needless to say that being 400 miles from home and in a different state we didnt have access to that kind of cash. We chose to just drive home again after the event. Definately WILL NOT stay here again. WE do not stay in establishments that only take cash.

Place is in a very sketchy area . Parking looks unsafe . Literally one van and a car in the parking lot that were burned and left abandoned. Dirty stairs and hallways all the way into rooms. All sheets needed replaced eww ! Everything looks unsanitary.

The property is utterly disgusting if I can download pictures to show you the beds has stains in the sheets the furniture the door bathroom door was off the hinges with holes in it the service clerk every time we go downstairs we can't find her it's gotten late in the evening we would not be staying here another night
