Only 1 bedside lamp no light switch near bed only near door where you come in. Breakfast not much choice could be better. My husband Ordered porridge and full English to follow they were both brought at the same time. Very slow service and restaurant was not busy and very small. I have stayed in a lot of best western hotels but this one is at the bottom of my list.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, I was not impressed. On Saturday evening, there was a wedding party being held in a hall right next to my room. The noise was quite disruptive and made it hard to relax or sleep peacefully. To make matters worse, on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM,the gardener started mowing the lawn right outside. It was loud and totally inconsiderate, especially for a Sunday morning at a supposed 4* stars hotel. I expected a more peaceful and restful experience, but sadly, that wasn’t the case. The hotel may have potential, but the lack of attention to guest comfort during what should be quiet hours was very disappointing.

Property was beautiful, but rooms were not the best maintained, they were clean but there is definitely opportunities to fix small issues (heated towel rail not working etc). Much of the character has been removed from the house with just a couple of reception rooms feeling like you’re staying in an old manor house.
