Clean accommodations and convenient location

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating is for 3 reasons. The girl at the front desk was less than welcoming. No customer service skills, no smoke, didn’t say Hi when we walked in or thank you when we finished checking in. Seemed liked she didn’t want to be there at all. Don’t waste your time with the breakfast. There are plenty of options in close proximity to the hotel. They had a self serve waffle station. My husband made his waffle, went to grab the syrup. None left. The girl working in the counter was too busy on her phone to offer much assistance. He asked for some and she said they are out without even hanging up from her call. Why keep the waffle station running if there is no syrup? And final reason, the clientele is sketchy all around the hotel area. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying here if my husband wasn’t with me.

When we drove up, there were homeless people with their belongings sitting outside, truckers in and out and people roaming the streets. It was a very unsafe environment and we cancelled thru Expedia immediately.

BE WARNED. I have no idea how this place has gotten positive ratings. Entering the “non-smoking” room was like getting smacked with a carton of cigarettes. I observed other hotel guests smoking out of room windows. I was only staying in this place one night with my two small kiddos, who were of course looking forward to the pool… well that lasted about 5 minutes as the pool was filthy and positively frigid. We couldn’t even warm up in the hot tub, as it was broken and just a giant tub of BROWN water. So we pivoted to take a hot shower instead; alas this hotel DOES NOT HAVE HOT WATER - just a tepid stream when the handle is turned all the way to hot. At least we could have waffles in the morning, right?! Wrong again - waffle batter dispenser broken! This place is tired, unkempt, and in no way worthy of positive ratings.
Hope you’re not looking forward to using the hot tub!

The hotel wss easy to get to off the highway. Unfortunately, we did not find the staff as friendly as other hotels we visited during our trip. The breakfast that was included was less than desired. The eggs were not replenished, the apple juice was totally water, the waffle mix was not replenished, the biscuits were hard and cold. Otherwise the facility was clean and comfortable.

Noisy. Room faced the interstate. Could hear traffic all night long. At 1:30 am there were people fighting in the parking lot! Was awaken by loud screaming! Called the front desk and reported it. Receptionist didn't really know what to do? Didn't get the much needed sleep.
